Once I finished booking via app, 4 hours later they called me and asked to cancel my booking because they said the rooms were already full booked 😔 If I cancel of course I would be still charged so they offered to move the date I stay. They than gave me larger room when I arrived their for free. The place is really far and I was lost when I used Google map to reach it. Th e road to go their was so narrow and if their was another car went through that road it was impossible to past. The food was really tasty and the view is amazing.

If you weren't familiar about the road, please be careful when using the map because the fastest road they choose might be through Ijen and the mountain/forest trip was horrible. It was only us on the road, it was pitch dark and it was raining on top of that we really just hoped that we could go through it safely along the way. The city route is exceptionally further, but it will feel safer, so please take that way especially if you are travelling in a small group. The trip made us too tired to go with our Kawah Ijen plan, and it was already too late to enjoy the view around the resort. The resort overall looks old, a little bit unclean, and it somehow gave us chills. Wifi didn't work well and my mother said it was turned off at dawn (I don't know because I couldn't connect properly even once, so I just gave up using it). Bathroom is clean and wide, but once again it just gave me chills when entering I don't know why. My bathroom door couldn't be closed fully, but too tired to complain after we complained once about the bathroom fan being too noisy and the staff just asked us to wait until it got better (thankfully it really did). It is indeed a hidden paradise as it is located far from anything, so don't expect you could grab anything other than room service if you suddenly feel hungry at night, unless you're willing to go out with youe vehicle. I was so excited to use the pool, but it was not clean and got worse due to the heavy rain. Overall, it wasn't that healing from me. Pro: I feel this place will be wonderful to go to in dry season with big group. The temperature is pretty cool. The view is amazing and the resort is huge, it would be a great place for families with children. And you need at least 3 days there. This turns out to be a long one because I had such a great expectation, which is why the disappointment is worse.

Minuses: (1) access to the resort which is so private is about 6 km from the main road with road conditions only for 1 vehicle, it makes you nervous if you run into it. (2) there is no valet available, so you have to park yourself under a rather uphill climb to return to the lobby. (3) the parking area is land with sparse grass, if it is muddy it will be prone to slipping, there are no officers to help. (4) variant breakfast room condition fully booked but minimal variation. Pluses: (1) traditional aesthetic rooms but clean and well-maintained, no air conditioning but the air is cool. (2) the hotel view is indeed a champion and deserves to be the prima donna with views of Mount Raung, Ranti and Ijen. (3) the staff is super friendly and helpful in carrying items from the lobby-rooms-lobby.

Awesome views. Helpful staff. But the way there. Damn it. From the main road, you still have to walk ±2km, with uphill and winding terrain, and only 1 car can pass. Be careful who wants to come here, especially those who bring a small motorbike and a pillion.

Best. For the swimming pool needs to be cleaned often because often a lot of tree leaves fall. Others are very sip.

Very comfortable with a spectacular view in the morning. Moreover, the swimming pool overlooks the terrace. Feel like in ubud bali.
