We had the Executive King room with Lounge Access. Totally worthwhile having. The j w marriott is centrally located and has easy access for everything you want in Surabaya. The staff, food, facilities and ambiance makes it a great place for a staycation or long or short stay. The staff throughout the hotel are welcoming, polite and very efficient and enthusiastic. My compliments and thanks to all the staff who we interacted with. You made us free very comfortable and special. I would like to thank the team in the Executive Lounge for all their efforts and courteous support during our stay. Timothy, Wira, Hary and the others many thanks. Cheers

Great staycation. The downside, swimming pool not that clean like it used to be. And kids can't run around the grass anymore cause they make a cafe on it.

For a five star hotel as “big” as jw marriott I definitely expect more, although the check in process was swift and easy, but a bit of smile and amicability wouldn't hurt. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, no complaints. Sadly on our third day as we were out for breakfast at 6.30 am and turned on the “make up room” sign expecting the room to be cleaned up as we're back at noon, but when we came back at around 12 pm the room was still in the same condition as when we left it. Had to call down to ask for the house keeping to came up and clean our room. So we have to wait again. What a waste of time. But we do appreciate the prompt response, quick follow up and personalized apology note from the housekeeping staff along with the elephant towel and complimentary cookies. Thank you.
