Recommended hotel, affordable prices, satisfying service, polite and all friendly (amazing) clerk, check-in express. Close to the mosque and the tomb of Sunan Ampel. Thank God, the flu and cough subsided after drinking welcome drink (warm ginger). Want to stay here again if there is a chance to return. Thank you Pesonna Hotel Surabaya Ampel.

Everything was very pleasant, but the check-in process took a long time and I had to wait 20 minutes for the bed to be the one I booked. Instead of waiting for a long time, I ended up changing to a twin bed quickly because my little one was getting cranky.

I booked a premium deluxe room with one large bed, but was told they were sold out and I was given a room with two small beds. I accepted the offer, but the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I was asked to wait, and it still wasn't cooling. I was downgraded to a regular deluxe room, which I accepted because it was late at night and the air conditioning was a little cooler. Is this really the procedure at this hotel?

When I first got the room, the AC felt hot but I was immediately replaced with another room with a cold AC. The food is quite varied for a 3-star hotel. There are delicious Arabic food and Madura porridge. The location is close to the Sunan Ampel religious tourism and Tanjung Perak port.

The hotel staff at check in seemed clueless when asked to order a double bed but got a twin bed because we had just arrived in Surabaya at night. Apart from that, the sound was not very soundproof. You could hear the bathroom in the room next to it. If you turn on the lights in the room next to it, you could hear it.
