A little bit hard to find the location, however, all paid off with good hotel and nice place. Clean and cold room. Good service and professional. Located at the old city of Surabaya, near jl Gula, Jembatan Merah and Jl Panggung. There are atm bca near the hotel. Fair price :)

My second staycation here, 3 days and 2 nights. Last time I took the most economical room. It was very comfortable to sleep in. I felt very restful, especially since I needed a lot of rest. HK was also proactive in offering to clean the room.
The only downside was the breakfast menu. It wasn't very varied. There was no soup. I was hoping for pasta since there were a lot of foreigners staying there, but it wasn't. It was available on the à la carte menu.

The smorgasbord breakfast was wonderful, however, other meals I had in the restaurant were disappointing. I had the seafood cap cay and it had one piece of seafood in it. I should know better than to order pizza in Indonesia, the pizza was terrible compared to what I'm used to in Australia. I ordered Mie Goring and it was wayyy too oily.
If something is not available on the menu, the best time to tell the guest is when they first sit down, rather than the guest deciding on a dish and then be told that it is not available.
I had to wait for too long for some dishes that I ordered.
The kitchen service staff were wonderful, as were all of the staff. The service was outstanding.

I stopped here for one night, room only, no breakfast. The hotel staff was very friendly, everyone was friendly, not just the receptionist. My room was a standard king size, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, and only liquid soap was provided in the shower, no shampoo. Hopefully, shampoo will be provided in the future.

The staff is friendly, the hotel has an old-fashioned vibe so it's aesthetic, especially the lobby area and the dining area, the food is also decent, when staying there there are a lot of foreigners so it doesn't feel like it's in SBY anymore hehe

I was initially surprised because it looked like it was located in a village alley, but upon arrival, I discovered the hotel was located in a Chinatown, or old town...
The old buildings, relics from the Dutch era, and the well-maintained items of the past, added to the feeling of being in that era.
And in the evening, as it was a weekend, there was a Kya-Kya food court with a Chinese theme, offering a variety of affordable foods...
The next day, walking around the hotel, it was so quiet on August 17th, and I felt like I was back in that era, seeing the old Chinese and Dutch buildings.

The staff is friendly, the hotel has an old-fashioned vibe so it's aesthetic, especially the lobby area and the dining area, the food is also decent, when staying there there are a lot of foreigners so it doesn't feel like it's in SBY anymore hehe
Only the parking area is a bit complicated if you bring a motorbike you have to turn around first, other than that it's okay

I was initially surprised because it looked like it was located in a village alley, but upon arrival, I discovered the hotel was located in a Chinatown, or old town...
The old buildings, relics from the Dutch era, and the well-maintained items of the past, added to the feeling of being in that era.
And in the evening, as it was a weekend, there was a Kya-Kya food court with a Chinese theme, offering a variety of affordable foods...
The next day, walking around the hotel, it was so quiet on August 17th, and I felt like I was back in that era, seeing the old Chinese and Dutch buildings.
