While not in the city center, it's conveniently located, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Komoreya's location is on the side of the road, quite easy to find. Comfortable (the vibe is like visiting a friend's house), cool, quite calm. Sitting around drinking coffee in the 'living room' area is fun.
There is a dispenser in the living room area (coffee, tea, available). There is a small kitchen that can be used.
I am interested in the shape of the Komoreya building. The design is minimalist, simple using natural materials (bamboo, teak)
When checking in, I met the owner (Mr. Mojo) and had a chat about the building.

The place is easy to find even though there is no sign, because it feels like it is Arabic from the photos seen from the reviews. The staff is helpful and friendly, the room is comfortable, spacious and fragrant. Very homey, the surroundings are also super comfy. It will definitely be a consideration if you stay in Jogja again.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations, the place is bit far from the city centre, but if you travel via car or bike, then it shouldn't be a problem. The rooms were very tidy, cleaned everyday and everything was changed when asked (towels etc …). If you are fan of interesting architecture, then this should be your number 1, which isn't surprising since the owner himself is an architect and designed the whole building. Only minus, and I thing for some it may be a big issue was the noise from the street, and little to none soundproof walls. The TV playing in the room next to us sounded as if it were in ours.
