Be prepared with constant noise until late at night. Motor exhaust noise, fireworks, some late night music blaring from neighboring cafe. The soundproofing of the room is really bad. People walking and chatting on the hallway can be heard from inside of the room.

The check-in process was very slow, but the hotel staff kindly upgraded our room. The cleanliness of the room was lacking, with dust and dirt still visible in some corners of the room and bathroom. Overall, breakfast was okay.

The room was dirty, lots of dust and small insects on the bed and pillows, the floor was dusty too.
Noisy at night, not suitable for bringing children
The place is okay because it is close to beachwalk and the surrounding area is busy. In front of the beach and close to many mini markets.
Next to Starbucks and around there are many food sellers
The staff entered the room when we were having breakfast even though they had not been asked to clean the room.

We stayed at Mercure Kuta Bali for 4 nights as a couple and had an overall great experience. The location is unbeatable, right across from Kuta Beach and walking distance to shops, cafes, and beach bars. Watching the sunset from the rooftop infinity pool was a highlight every evening. Our room was clean, cozy, and had a partial ocean view, which was a lovely touch. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always helpful with anything we needed. The hotel itself feels peaceful despite being in the heart of busy Kuta, which was perfect for both relaxation and fun. Highly recommend it for couples looking for a romantic yet convenient stay in Bali.
