Novotel Bali Nusa Dua - Hotel & Residences

Staff were so lovely and couldn’t have helped more. Wasn’t a fan of the bath/shower as it was a bit hard to get in and out of and an old shower head.

The staff were nice but the hotel itself could do with a bit of a renovation. I had the 2bed private villa with the private pool. The bathrooms and amenities were old and outdated. Bathrooms not very clean and plumbing had some odors. When you're paying close to 6M IDR per night you'd expect alot more for the price paid.

Loved the hotel! For the value for money I couldn’t fault it. We needed 3 bedrooms and I wanted our own pool in a resort. It is an older style hotel but that was part of the charnWe stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with a private swimming pool and it was HUGE!! The resort pool was fabulous. Nice and big and lots of nooks and crannies to keep the kids entertained. No pool slides which tbh I enjoyed as it made the pool nice and relaxing and probably more quiet than other resorts might have been. Buffet breakfasts were amazing, the lunch at the pool & room service were great and big variety. The spa was incredible - do the 2.5 hour Spa Sampler - you won’t be disappointed. The staff were so responsive - whether it was a phone call or WhatsApp any issues or questions were addressed immediately The hotel grounds are lush and lovely The kids club had great activities and my kids picked and chose what they did but they loved going and made some great friends at kids club - my kids ages 5 & 7. My 2.5 yo also loved it but had to be accompanied with an adult/our nanny. The beach was a 2 minute shuttle ride to the beach club - the beach was fabulous and the 30 min massage I got at the beach was incredible too. The location of the hotel was great - a 5 min free shuttle to the Bali Collection (or a $5 Gojak if that was full or time didn’t suit) or a 5-10 minute walk along the road to some restaurants etc. Dinners : Nusa (incredible Italian and great for kids) & Acala Bar & Grill

Just landed after a 14 hour flight to Singapore then another 3 hours to Bali. Ideal location to recover from jet lag. The hotel wants to keep you cocooned in their environment. Nusa Dua is an enclosed environment with at least 6 up market hotels controlling the beach front and local area. I asked for a map of the local area, not available, but if you walk out the rear entrance you are immediatly in real Bali, hustle and bustle, a large choice of restaurants and blue bird cabs waiting to pick you up. Get out and explore. would also recommend GWK cultural park (n.b. there aren't any taxi ranks to get back, ask your taxi to wait, visiting time 1-2hours) and a walk along the beach (turn right when facing the sea) leads to a hindu temple on the cliff top.

The property was kids friendly, had all the amenities and was very relaxing to spend the vacation.

Between this resort and the Novotel in Benoa we preferred the more intimate Benoa. However nusa doa is very convenient for the beaches shopping and just bring able to note conveniently travel to other areas of the island quickly. Both are goodn in their own way, we recommend staying at both

Loved our stay here, rooms are a little dated, tv very small and terrible picture. Other than this can't fault it, we had the best time here.

Loved the staff, and the fact it’s next to the Bali National Gold Club where we played golf. Rooms were large and luxurious and clean.

Lovely grounds & rooms with excellent service

We had a two bedroom room with a private pool. Room was very spacious with a little kitchenette, which was useful for light lunches. We had breakfast included which had loads of options to choose from. Within walking distance were a lot of different restaurants for dinner. About a 10min walk is Bali Collection which had a range of shops and restaurants as well. To get to the beach, a shuttle runs every 5 mins. Quite a few sun lounges and a lovely beach. Drinking water is a little pricey, compared to supermarket prices, so be sure to bring enough with you. A great hotel with very friendly staff. We had a wonderful holiday and would go back.

Our room wasn’t as good as previously, room was dark and positioned in the back of the property despite booking it in January (10 months ago ) staff were brilliant and very kind

We had pool view room which carries a bit of noise, but didn’t worry us. The grounds are beautiful, pool is great and deck chairs fill up early. Bottom level pool is quite a big step to get in it if. room is very dated and smells at times (musty type sewer smell). Serviced every day which is great for fresh towels and more needed toilet paper! Staff are absolutely beautiful, pool side service especially, we loved Yuda & Yuka who were so cheerful and thoughtful & great to chat to. Food was ok at restaurant, Pause cafe was better. Good walking access from rear of hotel to convenient stores, laundry service, cheaper massage/spa’s. Walking distance from front of hotel to other restaurants and street markets. Staff easily arrange taxis if needed. The Accor membership if worth buying for food/drink discounts, we had family of 4, so $150AUD outlay is worth it The beach club is a bit disappointing, toilets, not very nice. The beach itself had a bit of rubbish washed up but overall a nice, day. very strong current to swim in. Free shuttle back-and-forth was great and went every 15 minutes.

We had no clean water dispenser in our room where as my son did in his room. Cooking facilities in room but to toast bread we would have had to hire a toaster. Other than the above holiday was very good. Thanks.
