Affordable prices with good service and a really good view on the 3rd floor! Make you feel at home while staying there, the rooms are all clean, the hotel staff is nice and friendly, with a really affordable price, you can have breakfast in the morning. The location of the hotel is only 5-10 minutes walk from Mall Malioboro. No regrets choosing this and going back soon ^^

I really enjoy staying at Penak Malioboro Hostel, as the name implies penak which means good. Friendly service and a clean, cozy place to stay suitable for those who want to stay in low budget hotels. I think I want to go back to stay there when I visit Jogja again.

Staying at this hotel is very pleasant. The waiters are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location of the hotel is strategic because it is close to Malioboro street and Tugu station. Also provided are some adequate facilities such as a kitchen and refrigerator. Guests can also enjoy a delicious free breakfast. I recommend this hotel for all those who want to vacation in Yogyakarta.

After checking out, you can leave your belongings, but unfortunately you can't go to the toilet, even just to change clothes.

Hi Hotel Penak Malioboro!
Im actually happy with your service, the lady was so friendly and good at explaining everything!
But i would love to have a warm water shower at night after i had alot activities during the whole day that would be nice, with the strong water from the shower too. Unfortunately i couldn’t have any of that and disappointed for that one. But thanks for the explanation after in the morning. Could be better you explain it in front when we check in and not really shocked hehe. And also, i ve got some bugs, like ants, spider, and bed bugs on the pillow. That’s not really nice i guess.. but overall after i cleaned all good! Thank you for. Good luck!

Please replace the power outlet in room 4C, it's difficult to charge, you have to hold it in place, but luckily I brought a shoulder bag.

Everything was fine except the bathroom.. the water entered the room because the bathroom floor was not positioned properly to the drain hole. I took 2 rooms, 1 A and 1 D. The bathroom in room 1D was safe.

The hotel is very close to Malioboro, unfortunately it's a bit difficult to find because it's in an alley.
The room is clean, the amenities are complete.
I only got a room with an uncomfortable mattress, the springs on the mattress were loose so when I woke up my body was sore" for the price of a standard room, it's okay
