POP! Hotel Diponegoro Surabaya

The staff with white clothes (trainee or smtg) won't let me borrow a charger and brought it back to my room! The worst is no electricity outlets functioning near the sofas so I need to stand up while charging like a retard, yes standing in front of the lift! Bad, very bad customer service, terrible!

Have stayed here 3 times, in my opinion this is the best hotel with a rate of 250 thousand in Surabaya. Friendly service, spacious parking, location in the middle of the city, complete facilities, there is a modern coffee cafe below. Towels, hot water, soap, toothpaste, slippers, mineral water, fast wifi, cold AC. There is a computer downstairs for games, there is even a station for those who bring electric cars and want to charge them. Recommended and satisfied. Thank you online agent and POP! Okay, I started with a smooth check-in, there was a 100 thousand deposit, there happened to be a wedding, so the atmosphere was a bit crowded. Entering the room, there is a snack package, so I'm confident that it doesn't matter the complimentary, it turns out that there is a price, quickly hide it before the small child wants to open the gift. For the room according to what the receptionist said when confirming the booking, there was no water heating kettle so it was a bit messy because you had to go down first to ask, drinking water was provided in a jar + 2 glasses can be refilled in gallons on each floor. The room is clean, the toilets only get 2 towels, 2 round soap bars, the same as 1 plastic shampoo sachet. There is a long sofa that a few weeks ago I couldn't find on Harris Satellite yesterday, I found it at Pop 😂 for clean white towels, only the pillowcases and bed cover are a bit bulky. When I entered the air conditioner, it was very cold until 8 o'clock, it wasn't cool, the fan was cool at home, as a result WA went to the receptionist and the staff immediately came to fix it, as a result, it was immediately cool. For hot water to run smoothly both in the bathroom or at the sink, unfortunately there is only 1 shower in the bathroom, fortunately 1 can be taken so you don't get confused when you want to do ablution. Breakfast was delivered and drama again because it didn't match what we ordered, finally waiting for a long time for about 1 hour, fortunately it finally arrived what was ordered and it tasted good in my opinion. Check out was smooth without any problems. So this review may be useful.

I'm satisfied. All of my special requests were met. Starting from wanting a room with a city view, clean rooms, cold air conditioning, heating works well. Toilettries are just soap and shampoo, I already know from other traveler reviews. So for toothpaste & toothbrush I have prepared myself. There are no hotel slippers, but it isn't a big problem. At night, I was hungry, I ordered at the restaurant and the food was delicious 👍🏻 I'm really sorry! I regret that I only stayed for one night with my husband. Ma'am, the FO is also good, the service is good. Overall, it's the best for a budget room per night. Next time, if you come here again, you want to take a room with breakfast. Tingkyu Pop! ️

WL. First time staying here. Previously, I stayed at the city station POP. The room design is similar. Very happy to have the weekend here. 1. The elevator uses a card so it's more private. 2. Bed and bathroom clean. 3. AC cold. 4. The water heater works well. 5. Non-smoking. 6. Breakfast because it was still a pandemic so it was delivered to the room. 7. TV works fine. 8. There is a water dispenser in the Corridor. 9. Strategic location. 10. Near minimarkets, Promised soul coffee, KBS, Al Falah mosque, and others. 11. There is a safe in the room. 12. Friendly staff and security. A few inputs for the amenities are lacking the free ones are only bar soap and shampoo in plastic sachet packaging if you want it complete, you can buy it in the lobby 😊 and no clothes hanger is provided . Overall thank you Pop Hotel Diponegoro. Hopefully next time you can stay back. Amen

The room is clean. Even though it's not very spacious, it feels homey.

This is the umpteenth time I have stayed at Pop Hotel Diponegoro. Affordable prices for room facilities like in the picture. I prefer without breakfast so I can't review the food. Room conditions are so far so good, bathroom hot water also functions well, service is also friendly. The only drawback is that there is no free toothbrush / sandals facility (no problem because it is hotel policy), so for those who want a staycation, don't forget to bring toiletries. If you forget, you can go to the nearest Indomaret. In the car park there is also a Jiwa Promise, so it's comfortable if you want to have coffee, you don't have to leave the hotel.

The rooms are very comfortable and close to any tourist attractions in Surabaya.

Service is okay, next time I want to try a pop hotel in another city that has a swimming pool.
