I happened to just take a photo of the location around the hotel (the closest access from the hotel), close to Lalu Lintas Park, a children's playground. It's just a short walk to the culinary heritage building on Jl. Gempol Kulon - Jl. Braga. Close to the UNPAS and UNISBA campuses.

The hotel is nice. The facilities are also very adequate so any area is available even though it is not the most up-to-date and most importantly the location is very strategic... oh yes, the staff are also friendly and honest, my jewelry that I forgot to wear when I left is still neatly stored and my child's doll that was left behind is still kept until it is picked up by the family in Bandung

overall okay. city center. simple room. flush toilet need to be improved. the aquarium is refreshing. food is average. though there's no egg stand but you can requested it to the staff. the staff service and late check out till 1pm are highly appreciated.

The room clearly stated that it was non-smoking, but as soon as we entered, we could smell cigarette smoke, and the smell was especially strong in the bathroom. I don't know where the smell came from. After two nights, we still smelled it, even though none of us smoke.

The hairdryer doesn't work, the carpet is damaged by cigarettes, the water isn't hot enough, the toilet flush is sloppy, and the receptionist isn't very responsive (slow). In 2018, I often went to Serela and the facilities were still okay, but in 2025, they were a bit worse. It's a shame because it's strategically located in the city center and needs to be improved in all aspects. But the security is really good, they still remember the customers, and the service is friendly and fast.

The hotel is nice and clean. I like the room. I stayed here for 2 days and it was very comfortable. The response was fast when I asked for this and that. It's close so I don't waste money on travel, I want to go culinary in Braga or Buimas, it's not far. Thank you, Serela, next holiday in Bandung, I will come back here again.
