It was my second time staying in the Alana Surabaya. First one was for business trip, second was for family vacation. It didn’t failed me in both purposes. Spacious room, comfy bed, clean, various and delicious food also strategic location.

From my point of view, I like the hotel. The hotel staff were very polite. The location is strategic. You can walk to Royal Plaza for 20 minutes, or you can get any GoRide or GoCar very easily. You can also get food from surrounding, such as KFC, HokBen, Starbucks, Excelco, etc. The bathroom was nice and the water drained directly. No complaints.

The hotel can do better, what they should focus is: The Breakfast: The Receptionist was busy with her phones, the runner/the girl cleaned halfway, she came out took the plate, and stayed somewhere, until another waiter came to clean it and set up the table. The egg station, it served cold, she made a lot in advance and just displayed different kinds of eggs. So it served cold. It is quite a dissapointment the cleanliness, the attitude of restaurant staff.
