Had the most memorable staycation at The Gaia Hotel Bandung during the Gaia Music Festival on 2–3 August 2025! From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless, especially with the free shuttle from (and to) KCIC Padalarang straight to the hotel. The service was top-tier, the room was cozy yet modern, and the vibe? Immaculate. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the mountain air, or just soaking in the breathtaking views, the hotel offered the perfect balance of relaxation and style.
What made it even more special was how well the hotel blended with the energy of the festival. After dancing and singing my heart out, it felt amazing to return to a place that was peaceful yet alive with art, music, and warmth. 10/10 would stay again. The Gaia truly knows how to elevate both music and moments.

From the moment I stepped into The Gaia Hotel, I knew I was in for something special. Every detail—from the warm welcome to the little surprises along the way—made this staycation unforgettable.
Ambiance/Facilities:
The ambiance was serene and luxurious. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern elegance with natural surroundings. The infinity pool, gym, and spa were all clean, well-maintained, and truly elevated the experience.
Food:
The food was exceptional. Every meal was flavorful and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet had so many options—from healthy choices to indulgent treats—and everything tasted fresh and delicious.
Staff Assistance:
The staff were outstanding, especially Dimas, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. He made everything feel effortless, and his service truly stood out. I even got a room upgrade, which was such a pleasant surprise and made my stay even more enjoyable!
Highlights:
Getting upgraded to a spacious room with a stunning view was definitely a highlight. I also loved the peaceful vibe of the hotel, the thoughtful service, and how relaxed I felt throughout my stay.
Price:
Considering the premium experience, top-notch service, and the room upgrade, I’d say it was absolutely worth the price. Great value for a five-star experience.

We loved everything about this place, especially the sport facilities and the peaceful morning walk area. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and activities that bring the whole family together. We stayed at The GAIA Hotel on October 11–12, 2025 to celebrate our daughter’s birthday — and it was truly wonderful!
Special thanks to Makayla, Owen, Regina, and Daffa from the Guest Relation team for their warm assistance.
Our room was beautifully decorated with a birthday setup and complimentary cake, making the moment unforgettable.
Breakfast was delicious, and we were surprised again with another birthday cake from the restaurant team!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and child from Saturday to Monday, expecting 5-star service. We arrived around 1:30 PM and checked in just before 2 PM. Since our room wasn’t ready (the official check-in time online was 3 PM), we decided to take photos in the beautiful and aesthetic lobby, which has a great view. The staff kindly allowed us to access the swimming pool and garden while waiting.
However, the real issue began at check-in. I was told that I would be contacted around 3 PM once the room was ready, but by 3:15, no one had followed up. I returned to the lobby to ask about the room status and only received generic template replies that the room was “being checked.” I continued waiting until almost 4 PM, still getting the same response. The check-in process was extremely disappointing.
Finally, around 4:15 PM, a staff member called to inform me that the room was ready. I had booked a Garden View room and was assigned one at The Club Garden View section. Upon arriving, our luggage had not been delivered. When I asked about it, I was told it would be coordinated with the concierge—but again, there was no real assistance until I became upset.
Only one staff member, Christian (please correct me if I got the name wrong), who mentioned he previously worked at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong and had been with GAIA for about a year, truly went above and beyond. He personally helped locate and bring our luggage from the concierge. I truly appreciate his professionalism and effort.
Overall, the hotel itself is still good—the facilities, room, and aesthetics are great—but the service from most of the staff was painfully slow and unhelpful. The staff member who initially assisted us at check-in even misplaced our parking ticket and showed little concern when I asked about the room.

Excellent service from the GAIA staff.
The hotel grounds are clean and comfortable, and the Semeja and Monomono restaurants are also appealing.
And the free EV charging facility is a great help, providing peace of mind during your Bandung vacation. 👍

Thank you GAIA, Even breakfast was still given more greetings. For the employees from security and all of them were very helpful and friendly. In the middle of the night I was also panicking because I had to go to the pediatrician suddenly had a high fever for the MOD, they were very helpful and directed me to the nearest hospital. Hopefully there will be more activities for my child later! because the hotel is super comfortable, next time I will come back for a vacation and stay again.
For the food, I really liked the special fried rice ordered from room service, it was delicious, the satay was also very much loved by the kids, it's just a shame there was no chicken satay menu even though it was delicious!

This is our first stay in The Gaia Hotel Bandung.
We were welcomed very well since the time we arrived at the lobby. Staffs are friendly and helpful to carry our luggages and deliver them to our room completely. The lobby area was also wheel-chair & stroller friendly.
I took my parents here for their late wedding anniversary. The guest relation team (Makayla, Zena, Giska, Silpia and team) gave my parents a complementary chocolate cake upon arrival in our room. When I checked in, the assigned room was not ready yet, but the receptionist quickly switched us to another room, so my parents can directly rest in the room. Really appreciate it!
We stayed in duplex family room. The room was spacious, clean and neat. It has beautiful view as well from the balcony. The room provided complete amenities, free complementary snacks n mini bar, including mini color pencils for my niece to do. Little thing I noticed that could be improved is that the floor in the shower was a bit slippery when it is wet. I took my parents, especially my mom who needs extra care, to be more careful in the shower. I strongly suggested, the hotel to provide rubber sandals for the shower, so everyone wouldn't get slip in the shower. Also, the white part of the shower kept falling off since we arrived, kindly fix it.
For the hotel facilities, I would say, this is one of the best hotel in Bandung. It provides great and complete facilities. My niece enjoyed kidCADs and the infinity pool. The staff at the pond was great in taking our pictures, I was mesmerized😆 the gym area has pilates too! The whirpool and the sauna were nice, wide and great jogging track was also good. No other words I could describe the perfect facilities around the hotel.
We had breakfast in SEMEJA, the staffs took quite a long time to take our finished plate. Their pastry is great! But for other food, I expect more for 5 stars hotel like the Gaia☺️ I expect better taste for the food hehe.

I'm glad there are aquatic yoga activities, there's also pilates here, my favorite breakfast is white omelet and the beans are delicious 👍, the swimming pool is warm and long so you can fast and exercise, not just play in the water, maybe the swimming pool could be opened until 9 pm, not only until 7 pm
