The stay at The Residence was extremely pleasant! all the staffs were very helpful and friendly, and it was convenient getting around. Buggy service or complimentary bicycles were provided so transport within was a breeze. Food at Rica Rica and The Dining Room were great too. It was a really enjoyable getaway.

Love the room with the pool. Comfortable and clean. Walked the beach everyday. Enjoyed doing nothing(there were water activities but didin't try this time)

The most hospitable and kindest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. My family has been there twice and on the most recent trip, my toddler son fell sick. The hotel staff were so thoughtful and caring, sending a nurse to our room and accommodating requests for things like thermometers, ice for a fever pack, specially cooked congee etc. I am beyond grateful for their care and we can’t wait to return so we can enjoy the resort again. I also give top marks for their kids club and babysitters, as well as the quality of family friendly activities such as the free sea sport activities. The food at their Indonesian restaurant Rica Rica was consistently delicious - try their beef rending and satays. The Residence is truly a gem in Bintan!

Overall nice experience, kids friendly with rabbit, chicken and fish feeding. Food is nice although pricey. Muddy seaside not suitable for swimming. Hotel staffs very friendly and helpful. Hotel room is spacious and clean, however the lighting is dim and aircond not stable.

Excellent small hotel removed from the regular tourist bustle of Bintan. Complimentary and seamless pickup from the ferry (one hour ferry ride from Singapore) makes getting to this small slice of paradise easy. Good food, nice rooms. Great pool and pool bar. Sea is nice and low tide reveals a super cool sandbar. Only thing that could be improved are the bicycles: nearly all of them are rusty and broken. Time for new ones!!!

stayed for 4d3n in the upper garden suite. room was extremely spacious with living and balcony.
could have a few more ceiling lights to brighten up the room.
layout of the resort was spread out with lots of greenery and we liked that.
2 bikes for each room but we also used the buggy on hot days.
staff service was great and attentive. they responded fast to whatsapp messages and all staff we met were friendly.
we stayed during low occupancy so everything felt very private. the next few days we saw more guests.
breakfast was delicious. food at rica rica was really small in serving in comparison to the high price.
we did not try the complimentary non-motorised activities. however we enjoyed the pool, earth basket (lots of mosquitoes there) and went on the snorkelling trip. we also walked on the beach at low tide.
only 2 hooks in the bathroom which we could not use cos they were
directly above the toiletries bottles.
be prepared for lots of mosquitoes esp at earth basket and the balcony.
long journey from ferry terminal but you get a serene environment when you arrive.

Secluded and Very friendly. Beaches were clean and so was the surrounding area. Loved the bikes, but unfortunately could not use as there were no kid seats, but luckily easy to walk around. As we were close to all theaon amenities.

This is a nice little lux property that spans over quite a lot of land, so even if it is full, one doesnt feel the crowd. Service is good and I like that they are mostly very organised.
