AC Hotel Firenze by Marriott

First the front desk staff will say their Apple Pay is unstable and ask you to use the physical card. But if you insist on Apple Pay, their pos machine will magically work. Second there is a pretty busy road behind the hotel. You will probably get a sleepless night if you’re assigned a room on the noisy side when there are actually tons of room’s available on the quiet side. So don’t recommend this hotel to perspective guests.

Not much to do around, the hotel should have a more inviting lobby, maybe happy hour. The lobby felt very empty.

Hotel is nice, amenities are reasonable. Not the best location but reasonable for a transit hotel.

I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share some observations and suggestions that could improve the overall guest experience. Safety Around the Building: I noticed some individuals loitering near the building entrance, which felt a bit uncomfortable. There were security staff inside, but it might be more effective to have them patrol outside periodically, especially near entrances and exits. Parkade Conditions: While I understand the parking facility may not be directly owned by the hotel, many guests use it. The lighting is quite dim, and the elevators were not working during my stay. It would go a long way in making guests feel more valued and safe if hotel security could occasionally patrol the area or if the hotel could collaborate with the parkade operator to improve conditions. Executive Lounge Experience: The executive lounge was underwhelming. It felt more like a cafeteria with limited food and beverage options and basic seating. A more premium experience in line with the "executive" label would be appreciated—perhaps better seating, a more refined layout, and an expanded selection. I hope you’ll consider these suggestions as opportunities to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.

It was not too bad. Close proximity to everything with transportation but a distance with walking.

Overall, it was a great stay. The lobby was modern, spacious and nicely designed. The staff spoke English well. They were very polite and professional. The bed was stiff and comfortable. The room had very nice lighting. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, not a desirable view outside, but wonderful on the inside. However, there is a laundromat just a few minutes walk away. Bring a credit card and your own detergent. There was one brief adverse event I witnessed in the lobby with some guests who refused to pay their bill and ran out on the staff. But I would think that’s the kind of thing that wouldn’t happen very often. I checked in very late, yet their guest representative was able to let and check us in quite quickly. Overall, if you’re looking for a new, clean, brand hotel with plenty of hot water and space, you’ll like it. It’s a Marriott.

Location is out of the core which made it quiet, and we felt safe walking around. But taxis added to the overall cost of our stay - anywhere from €15 to €20 each way. Front desk staff were SO AWESOME! Upon arrival, Andrea took time to recommend wonderful places in town to visit, and another fella (we didn’t get his name) always greeted us warmly saying our room number. Our room attendant was super friendly and accommodating with extra towels, etc. Room was really clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was great! Shampoo was awful - like stinky baby shampoo.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Very modern. The staff in the lobby was very nice to us. But there was once employee who was significantly rude to us. It was 9 pm and I was getting ready to leave for dinner and somebody complained about me walking in heels inside the room. When the employee came to the room about the complaint he was extremely rude.

Hotel is awesome as a place to stay near the airport for an early morning flight. Which is what we did. It was perfecto!!!

It seems that ever since Marriott bought Sheraton that the maintenance of the properties has declined. The bed sheets had holes in them as did the bath towels. There was no Kleenex dispenser, only a tiny packet. The hair conditioner in the shower was empty for three days. On the other hand the desk staff and restaurant and bar staffs were very nice and breakfast was great. Location wise, it's quite a ways from where you want to be in Venice if you are there for leisure.

Amazing service with great food and a beautiful bar! Very convenient as only a short walk from the centre of Florence!

The property was clean, and very comfortable . There are great variety of food options and the food is delicious.

The hotel is nice and conveniently located. We walked from train station following google maps. It took us thru a unsafe street one block over. But if one comes in on the Main Street in front of hotel area is much better. Huge bath tub and great water pressure. Bed was comfortable and you have control of your thermostat. Room was reasonably quite.

The hotel was very good , both our rooms were nice , staff were helpful & friendly. Concierge was good & booked two of our trips Tram was only 3 minutes away & easy to use .
