This is a beautiful hotel from the 1870s. It’s a lovely area of town. The staff were very helpful by getting us a taxi and taking care of our luggage storage. We loved our room with a little outdoor terrace. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Extremely beautiful old world style hotel. I love this hotel! And the room that you see in the brochure… is the one you get to stay in! Lovely breakfast, large windows , comfortable beds, nice quality linens, huge and wonderful bathrooms. But best of all great security, wonderfully helpful staff, and an excellent location. My only hotel for Rome!

Staff was very helpful in seeing to my comfort. Getting a car to the airport was easy and on time. Breakfast was perfect and location to the train was ideal.

How Expedia rated this hotel in the "luxury" category is beyond me. This is at best a 2-star hotel, as it was missing some very basic amenities, such as a coffee make and there was NO air conditioning service (not turned on until summer, I was told). All this besides the fact the hotel is very near a bad area (Termini terminal) and I was told by the staff to not go there when night falls. Expedia needs to do better.

Very good hotel, nice decor, good breakfast and restaurant if you are in a rush, although there are better places to eat outside the hotel. Safe area to walk, lots of shops and things to do nearby and they will call a taxi for you which is great.

Didn't use the A/C. Disappointed with the view so we were moved to a higher up room but the view wasn't much better. As a vegan, I pre warned the staff on reception but all I could have for breakfast every day was cereal and oat milk - not good value for money. The building is big and impressive but a little tired and dusty in some areas. The corridors outside the rooms could be quite noisy, with doors banging etc. Good location though and very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend the hotel to others, but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

I stayed in room 406 for seven nights and overall had a mixed experience. The room—and especially the bathroom—was exceptionally clean, easily one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was also quite good and very substantial, which was a nice way to start each day. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The room temperature was consistently too warm, and it appeared that the heating and air conditioning were centrally controlled, as the in-room thermostat didn’t seem to have any effect. This made sleeping very uncomfortable. Opening the window helped with the temperature, but it introduced way too much street noise for sleeping, so we opted for the room being too warm. While the breakfast quality was solid, the selection was exactly the same each day. After a week-long stay, a bit more variety would have been appreciated. Lastly, the elevator doors close too quickly—almost immediately after selecting a floor—and do not reopen once they begin closing. This made entering the elevator somewhat challenging when multiple people were getting on. I got separated from my husband and I witnessed the same thing happen to other people when the elevator doors locked us out.

The hotel is in great location. Even you you are tired if walking and still would like to sit at a pub and have a drink? There is a nice Irish pub next door too. Very close to the pantheon and trevi fountain. Pretty much chose to everything including the metro station is a block away.

Hotel was clean and nice. Walkable to many things to see and do. The room was good but just like all other reviews its a little loud since the building is from the 1800's the walls are paper thin. The AC didn't turn on but luckily it was nice and cool outside so we just open the windows but it was loud outside so little sleep. The breakfast was just okay. Staff very nice and helpful.

Such an incredible experience at this hotel. The breakfast was great and plentiful, the hotel was historic with so much to see and do there. We had great interactions with every single employee - they even assisted in helping me with stolen items and a last minute cab transfer to Florence. 10/10 experience.
