Nice quite small hotel no eating facility's near by a bout 20 mins walk to sea front and food shops close 1.30 till 3.30nice clean hotel and nice staff ok for a short stay . beware taxis from the port tried to rip us off 40 euros from the port hotel has a transfer for 20 euros each way though not too far from the port free continental breakfast which is ok for a small hotel .

Wonderful Stay at Hotel Traiano – A Perfect Italian Experience
We stayed at Hotel Traiano in Civitavecchia after departing our cruise, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel is wonderfully located—just about a 10-minute walk to the charming Old Town area.
Staying here felt like an authentic Italian experience. While the hotel is a bit dated, it is extremely clean and well-maintained. The daily breakfast was fantastic, offering a perfect variety of hot and cold options, along with fresh pastries.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any request. Booking transfers to the port and airport was stress-free and handled very efficiently, which made our travel much smoother.
We would definitely recommend Hotel Traiano for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Civitavecchia!

Unfortunately, it was not near places to eat.
Everything else was good.
They had a free shuttle to dinner at their sister hotel and the dinner was delicious and reasonable.

A very quaint and lovely place to stay period the owner and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
The rooms were nice, clean and very Italian quaint.
The only negative we noticed was that the bed was very very firm and not quite what we're used to to get a good sleep.
But we would definitely go back, and recommend it anybody.

The staff were really helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. The only downside (which isn’t the hotel’s fault) is that we were told there would be a taxi stand at the ferry station. There was not. It was 10pm and an uber would have taken at least 30 minutes to wait for. We ended up having to walk with our luggage in the rain to the hotel. It was close enough to walk but probably 25 minutes. But I recommend the hotel overall.

It an amazing hotel close to the port . Ideal for pre-cruise & post cruise lay off . also the charges for pick ups are very competitive and very decent breakfast. The hotel owner will go out of his way to help you .

Hotel is in a residential area, walkable to the town center and the shore. Basic hotel room with little dated furnishings, but adequate for one night before boarding the cruise. Shuttle to a ship 5 Euro/per person is a great service.
