Simply a great getaway! Location Pool & beach & staff are wonderful! 4 time visiting. Only thing that could improve is check in information given regarding reservations several guest were confused including us that have been at different Barcelos! Staff was not too friendly at front desk. Possibly having an app to follow through the schedule. & change in the menu more variety for the buffet.

My husband slipped with a slippery rug between beds
No Dr on staff and it’s advertised 24 hr Dr

Overall was good. We had thought we upgraded to a premium suite but turns out we only upgraded to a premium lounge which was a bummer considering we were on our honeymoon and wanted to go all in. Also the hotel lacked air conditioning in the main lobby/dining area making it a hot and sweaty dining experience. I don’t think we would stay here again.

We paid for all inclusive. When we arrived they told us we had to pay extra in order to get a better quality food and beverage. Without paying that extra amount they only offered low quality food and beverage.
Staff was unfriendly. They actually looked like not enjoying tyeir job. Staff just ignored the guests. We had to chase them all the time.
Furniture looked old and smelled very bad. Amenities in the room were very low quality.
I will never stay in that hotel again and I definitely don't recommend it.

The buffet was a bit repetitive and became tiring. No cafe offerings in early mornings. Buffet opens at 7:00 and ideal for early risers. some staff very friendly others not so much. Night life/acitivities not ideal.

Hotel is on a great stretch of beach. View from ocean-front suite was terrific. Wait staff at the all inclusive restaurants was good overall, but probably understaffed at times. Overall, I recommend it.
