My husband and I enjoyed our stay for 10 nights. The hotel is in an excellent location and it was very easy for us to walk to museums and access transportation in Amsterdam.. Our room and bath were clean and fresh bottled water was provided. We opted for the breakfast and it was delicious and generous and I was provided delicious gluten free choices which were much appreciated. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating and helped us on numerous occasions with directions and suggestions. Our room was quite small by American standards but that was due to the rooms available at the time. We eagerly look forward to returning to the Leonardo Boutique Museumhotel on our next visit.

This is a great place to stay in Amsterdam. It’s near the major museums and tram lines. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Amber was particularly helpful with my questions about food and transportation.

Highly recommend this lovely hotel... staff were fab, the room was lovely and the complimentary bottle of fizz for our 10th wedding anniversay was so lovely 😍

We were offered an upgrade upon arrival which sounded compelling. Only to discover the two rooms on the 5th floor were very small, even with European standards, and only accessible from the 4th floor via a steep staircase. The room had a peculiar smell, could be either damp or coming from the ongoing construction work. The noise level in the room was disturbing, both as a result of poorly insulated windows as well as from other surrounding rooms (and likely ventilation system) the Roman roller blinds were flimsy and not made for a bedroom, with light coming through from all four sides. We stayed juts for a night; overall not impressed and wouldn’t return. Positive : convenient location close to museums

Overall nice hotel, great location for the Museums. Purchased a sandwich for lunch at the Restaurant, the meat & cheese were frozen! Absolute crap, cheap ingredients . The worst part is they charged €9.50. Staff shrugged their shoulders when I mentioned the issue.

Overall a good experience. I was however disappointed by the size of the bathroom in room 514. Not practical at all. Had to walk over the toilet to get to the shower. The toilet is positioned such that someone tall cannot sit comfortable. Otherwise the staff are very kind and helpful.

Great location to the museum district, and fast access to major tram lines. Also walkable to several dining option areas. But the hotels location means street noise until late at night.
The rooms are small, we couldn't open the bathroom door without hitting the bed. Coffee and small frig help. Construction on the building was noticeable.
The staff was helpful, always willing to help.

This Hotel is located on a street that follows one of the main canals in Amsterdam and we could view the activities on the canal from our room. It is walkable to the Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum as well as to interesting restaurants , public transportation, and a major public garden. You can arrange canal tours nearby.
The staff was very helpful, answering all our questions about the area and making sure that my husband, who has some walking restraints, was comfortable.
There is an excellent buffet breakfast with fresh fruits, cheeses, crafted pastries, and many choices of eggs, cereal, meats in a cosy cafe atmosphere. The cafe and the garden are also great to enjoy for wine or coffee in the evenings.
Our room was a bit small compared to American facilities, but was well-decorated and had all amenities.
