It was extremely noisy. The bar next to the hotel (in the same building) had VERY LOUD music EVERY NIGHT during our stay. I complained to the front desk staff and did not get any help. The music did not stop until after the mid night (2am to be exact). The shower are in the hotel room is practically unuseable, although we had a Business Class Room.

Pros: breakfast was incredible, hotel restaurant was very good, bed was ok
Cons: Our room overlooked the courtyard outside, it was extremely loud at night time when people would gather after bar/restaurant closed for the evening. Parking was $20 for an indoor spot at the hotel.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Svolvær, a great base to explore Lofoten. The hotel was very busy with lots of coach parties but it was quiet and comfortable. Take a room with a view over the square and harbour with a great view of the mountains.

Wonderful hotel right on the harbor with an incredible mountain view. And that breakfast is fantastic--huge breakfast buffet with something for everyone! Would highly recommend. And it's centrally located and walkable to restaurants and attractions--many tours pick up right in front. Loved it!
