Really enjoyed our stay here over Easter break 2025. Very friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable with easy onsite parking which was very important to me with the kids ( charged £12.50 a day). Good breakfast and reception lounge service. Close to M8 so easy day trip to Edinburgh and about 15 min walk to centre of all the busy shopping areas of the city.

Had a brilliant stay at the hotel. From the moment we stepped up to reception, every member of staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel is in an ideal location close to the city centre. Our room was upgraded free of charge which was a lovely gesture from them. The room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we could need, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also lovely, with a selection of both continental and English and there was an omelette section where the chef would make a fresh omelette on request. Overall, we had an excellent, enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again on our next visit to the city. Wed highly recommend this hotel. 10/10 from us.

Comfortable, large hotel with a friendly vibe and standard corporate decorative touches. Spacious room (junior suite) with views over the motorway and south of the city.
There were interconnecting doors on both sides of my suite, with no sound proofing, making it possible to hear phonecalls in neighbouring rooms on both sides, on my first night. I could not hear the motorway though, and it was quite through the night.
The bathroom was spacious with a large jetted bath and separate shower. The jet nozzles on the bath looked a little dirty so I ended up cleaning the bath before using it. The bidet did not work. I also could not get wi-fi access in the hotel.
The staff in the exec lounge were absolutely fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast staff were lovely too.
The hotel is on the edge of the city centre in the financial district, and so well-located for walking to the Kelvingrove (20 mins) and Hunterian (30 mins) galleries. Central Station is about a 10 min walk.
I didn’t allow the problems to affect my stay and had a good time overall.

Really good hotel within 10 mins of the Hydro. Recommend over one very close that we also saw inside because of friends staying there. Nice pool, gym and spa. Great breakfast. Good bar for a nightcap. Friendly staff.

Staff are always warm and friendly. Facilities clean and comfortable. Great nights sleep. Love that even after check out you can still use the pool etc. Breakfast is amazing and there is lots of choice.

This Marriott hotel is certainly not up to it's usual standard compared to others that we've stayed in. The executive room was more of a Travelodge standard. Broken window which did not shut properly. After many discussions, which was not appropriate, we asked to move. We were told hotel was fully booked and after digging our heals in and telling them it left us with no option but to request a full refund and source alternative hotel, miraculously a room was found! The swimming pool facility did not have a sufficient enough of beds which left the option of sitting on a chair in the pool area. Also pool floor area was dirty and I did not see one person come in to clean or wipe the floor down whilst I was there. If you are sleep sensitive, the constant ventilation noise will drive you nuts! The positives were: comfy bed and pillows, lovely staff in the restaurant who were extremely attentive, nice hot shower, good steam room. I feel the rooms really could do with a dressing table to be able to do your hair and makeup. This is a must, rather than taking it away to make the rooms more simplistic. It does not work. Overall the hassle it caused initially ruined the experience in this hotel and it is very doubtful we will return.

Great location, the room looked recently refurbished but the bathroom could do with being modernised. It was a Sunday night so eating options in the hotel were limited, including the room service options.

Great stay in a very comfortable room. However, it would have been even better if we'd had 2 chairs rather than 1. The bed was really comfortable ad the hotel was in a great part of the city. Loved the pool too and it was open almost all the time

Last stayed here 14 years ago for my birthday. Returned for my 40th to go and see Snowpatrol. A lovely touch in the room to help us celebrate. Can’t thank you enough. Service was fantastic at the check in and at breakfast etc too. Wonderful trip away. Hopefully return again before another 14yrs time!!
