Stayed here for two nights during The Eras Tour Taylor Swift. I did some research about how Singapore hotels, especially the 2-3 star hotels, have limitations due to its land constraints, so I expected how compact the room is gonna be, but I didn't expect it to be SO clean, with a huge window so it didn't feel suffocating. The bed actually has a vacant space so we can easily store our luggage there, and when we want to pray, we can just put it back in. The toilet is also very clean too, it smells good & relaxing, the water heater works perfectly fine just as the bath complimentary. My room actually has hairdryer, mini fridge too (despite how compact the room is), a make up mirror (yess with the cool make up-made lighting), a clothing hanger, and a mini chair. It was such a perfect, clean, spotless, 2 star hotels. I was so happy might return next time. Oh and the staffs are also so very kind! We goofed around and I asked so many places to explore in Singapore and they were happily answered and gave many recommendations! So happy staying here.

Nice near bus stop with affordable price. I am always booked through app. The hotel near food court and bus stop in front of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work

Pretty average stay and nothing to write home about, it's not a Hilton however surprised I paid a slightly higher rate - checked price on the the day and it seemed to be SGD 20 lower than what I paid, despite the fact I booked months earlier. Par for course for Singapore and its exorbitant accom costs - overrated in general and not Fragrance Hotel's fault. I stayed at a Sofitel, Hilton Garden Inn & flagship Hilton during the same trip so I think my average 3-star rating is generous for this hotel...

The room and bathroom were super tiny but clean.
Check-in was quite fast, but I was required to manually submit all the passport scans through a third-party system (Trevo), which I didn’t like. A quick check revealed that many hotels in Singapore are using the same system.
The main issue with 2-3 star hotels is that soundproofing is virtually nonexistent. So, if you’re young and drunk enough to fall asleep easily, you’ll be fine. But if you’re older or a light sleeper or travelling with kids, this hotel is not for you (as most of the 2-3 star hotels)

For a budget hotel, I gave it 5 Stars: It’s conveniently located right next to a bus stop. Plenty of eateries nearby & neighborhood shopping malls within a short walk away.
Manager, Jessica, was friendly along with their other staff members.
The only unpleasant experience was that my white T-shirt went missing even though it was placed atop my luggage away from the other linens. Likely that the room service lady mistakenly took it as one of their linens for cleaning. During check out, this was reported to the manager and she had submitted an email to their laundry service in hopes that they will find it and have it return back to the hotel within a few days time. After all, i’ll still be in Singapore for a few more days at another location and therefore, I can go back to the hotel for my missing T-shirt if found. Time will tell & keeping my fingers crossed.

There are so many great things about this hotel!
1. Convenient location with easy access to public transport (bus and MRT), F&B, and others (there are 2 small shopping malls opposite).
2. Room size was bigger than I expected.
3. Clean room and linens.
And the main highlight of my stay, was their front desk staff named Jessica! She has made my stay truly warm and inviting, and is so helpful as she wrote down how to get to my destinations, recommended places to eat and go to that are near the hotel and my destinations, and so much more!!
If there are any improvements, I would only say the hot water that is not so consistent throughout the usage, and for some reason there is always the small water bugs that are present in the bathroom (but very little like one or two). Not sure why the bugs are present cause the bathroom is clean and there is no smell whatsoever.
Overall, definitely coming back here and highly recommended for short and long stays!!

The hotel is so conveniently located as this time around we only took the busses and MRT to move around. Applaud the Singapore government for the efficient public transportation system.

There are so many great things about this hotel!
