Very cheap, got it for $70/night after the promo code. It's a good and clean hotel for this price, although there was a weird smell with the pillows. But it is fine considering the price :)

We booked a Deluxe Superior room for one night. When we booked the photograph of the room is what we expected on arrival. This was not the case. The room did not have a bench and chair and mirror. It was tiny. We had to walk over our suitcases. It was in the new wing. It had been refurnished and was clean. A disappointment Wotif.Hotel Bencoolen @ HongKong Singapore. The bonus was the hotel was close to the canal and there was plenty of food outlets.

After a cruise we arrived long before normal check in and we were given our room. The room was small, as normal for Singapore, but there was everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the staff helpful. Breakfast was more suited to the Asian market.

The hotel is just metres away from Clarke Quay and at walkable distance to transport and main attractions. There's plenty of food and drinks options nearby.
Rooms are a bit small, but new and very clean. They do have a plunge pool in the rooftop at the hotel side which is a rarity to find in the city centre (unless you are in an expensive hotel).

The rooms were tiny, and no window. Very central location, but besides that not much to add. Breakfast was very basic and staff wasn’t very helpful when asked for assistance e.i. Best way to travel to Malaysia.

Funky set up… our room was through another building. Room was smaller than expected even for Singapore standards. The dealbreaker was the weak shower pressure (I know it’s a showerhead swap), but after a long how day of travel, sometimes shower pressure is what makes it.

This is a great place to stay. We had 3 nights there in December. Staff are kind and helpful - most of them spoke english too. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit.
Rooms are clean. Spa is great! Can't complain about anything. Would absolutely stay again.

When you're lying in bed and one side is against the wall and your feet can almost touch the opposing wall, it's not 4 stars.
When the shower runs hot water for only 3 minutes it's not 4 stars.
Having to keep the curtains closed because the room looks directly into another room, its not 4 stars.
When the cleaner leaves a bag with two replacement threadbare towels on the door, its not 4 stars.
One communal bowl of cold noodles does not constitute breakfast.
This is at best am adequate 3 star. Maybe.

Location was great. Friendly staff. The room was very small. There is a French door that leads to the balcony that looks inside the building. No daylight. It feels like windowless closet. Shower was good.
