Ranggajati Train
Ranggajati Train is an executive and business class train owned by PT Kereta Api Indonesia in Java which operates from November 1, 2016, on the Cirebon-Jember route and vice versa. This train is operated as an alternative to the Logawa train that serves PSO AC economy class.
Along the route, the Ranggajati train stops at Cirebon, Purwokerto, Kroya, Tambak (only Train 104/101 Cirebon route; crosses with other trains), Kebumen, Kutoarjo, Yogyakarta, Klaten, Solo Balapan, Sragen, West (only Train 102 / 103 Jember route), Madiun, Nganjuk, Kertosono, Jombang, Mojokerto, Surabaya Gubeng (locomotive changes position), Sidoarjo, Bangil, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Klakah, Tanggul, Rambipuji, and ended in Jember.
Ranggajati train fares are in the range of Rp 200,000 - Rp 750,000 for the executive class, Rp 140,000 - Rp 650,000 for the business class, and Rp 130,000 - Rp 550,000 for the AC economy plus class. The fare certainly depends on the distance traveled by passengers, subclasses, or special days such as weekends and national holidays.

Train History
The name of the Ranggajati train is taken from the name of a figure in the history of the Cirebon region, Ki Gede Ranggajati. Ki Gede Ranggajati is one of the figures who spread Islam there and contributed to the development of Sumber City, which is now the capital of Cirebon Regency. Previously, this name was also used as the name of a football stadium in the Cirebon area, Ranggajati Stadium.
Train Circuit and Facilities
The Ranggajati train series consists of one executive class dining train (M1), four to five executive class trains (K1), four business class trains (K2), and one generator train (P). Sometimes this train also carries one economy AC plus class (K3 AC) train which causes the number of business-class trains to be reduced to three units.
This train has a full service which is economy, business, to executive classes. Ranggajati Train provides 80 seats per economy class car, 64 seats per business class car, and 50 seats per executive class car.
The entire train cars are equipped with air conditioning. Each car has a toilet, luggage storage, and LED TV for passenger entertainment. There is at least one dining car in every train circuit.
For seating facilities, all chairs use a soft chair wrapped in leather and equipped with armrests. Each chair is also equipped with a folding table, electrical sockets, and cup coasters. The executive class has more luxurious chairs that can be adjusted in position, and are equipped with pillows and blankets.
Heading for Bali Island
Ranggajati trains are usually used by passengers from the Cirebon or Yogyakarta area who want to take a vacation to the island of Bali, beside using the Mutiara Timur train. If you arrive in Jember, passengers will usually use a bus, bound for Bali via the Ketapang Port.
