Sukabumi - Bogor Train

Bogor and Sukabumi are close to each other. However, Bogor dubbed the "Rainy City," offers livelier and more modern city atmosphere than Sukabumi. Sukabumi Station

Sukabumi main station is located on Stasiun Barat Street number 02, Gunungparang, Cikole, Sukabumi, West Java, 43141. This is the southernmost station within the 1st Operational Region of Jakarta.

Sukabumi Station is close to several public places, such as Ramayana Shopping Center and Supermall Sukabumi. You can also use pink-colored public transport cars that pass by right in front of the station on their regular route.Operated since 1882, Sukabumi Station has Dutch colonial-style architecture. The station has five railways, but currently, there are only three railways that are being actively used. Railway 1 is dedicated to Pangrangro Train, with the regular Bandung-Paledang route. Railway 2 is dedicated to Siliwangi Train, with a regular route to Cianjur. The last railway is used to store locomotive or carriage.

Bogor Station

Bogor Station was built in 1881 during the Dutch colonial era. It was called Buitenzorg Station back then. The station still keeps its classic European look, even with an additional, more modern building in the front. Aside from airport-like check-in aisle, Bogor Station has parallel parking facilities that can accommodate up to four thousand motorbikes and four hundred cars. This main station of Bogor City is located on Mayor Oking Street, Paledang Blok Sekolah Dalem number 04, Paledang, Central Bogor, West Java, 16122. This train station is located right in front of Taman Topi Square Shopping Center. You can also use public transport number 02 or 03 from the train station to visit Bogor Botanical Garden.

Another famous icon of Bogor is Mekarsari Fruit Park. This biggest fruit park in Indonesia covered 264 hectares of area and located on Jonggol Road, Cileungsi Kilometer 3, Mekarsari, Cileungsi, Bogor. Visitors, who are mostly families, flock to this place every weekend to see thousands of fruit trees, harvest some fruits, and eat them on the spot. Mekarsari also has outbound facilities, camping ground, and Water Park.
