Brand new hotel which was great. Stayed in a room with a small kitchen. Could have done with a few extra things like tea towels and oven gloves. Hotel is still being built but I didn't hear any construction noise while I was there. Used the pool at the hotel next door. Overall very good, just expensive.

We only stayed 3 nights in Forest park hotel, but we're very happy with the stay. Staffs are very polite and friendly, yet professional. Felt very welcomed once you talked to them. Rooms are very clean, with stuffed small kitchen, We do have balcony to sit and see the scenery outside. Overall we're very happy, highly recommend to everyone, hope we can go back again when the renovation is done.

The hotel was under renovation. There was only one elevator available, and it was far from our room, so we took the stairs every time. The hotel is a little far from the busy town area, and it doesn't have an on-site restaurant. Also the dining options nearby are limited. The hotel offered 10% discount for our stay because some amenities were still under construction.

Issue is when your room is close to the ongoing renovations. Some rooms are sold despite not being ready. Ours, didn't have an AC yet. Our friend's was facing the inner court, no windows and dusty from renos. New rooms are good, but how to sell spaces next to massive construction?

Great location and well-maintained property. The new construction is a hassle but hopefully over soon. Peaceful, at the edge of town, yet 15-20 minutes walk to the town center. Room with modern amenities, but missing a closet!! The hotel will need to increase parking with its new expansion. Courteous and efficient registration. Nice hotel.

Property under construction which was not a problem for us. We got a new room and it was a nice, modern, comfortable room. Our biggest issue was we were on the main floor, facing the main road and there were many big busses coming in and out throughout our stay. One of the two mornings we stayed, we could hear the beeping of the bus reversing at 6:12 AM which woke us up. The kitchen was very small but nice to have. There lacked space to put your clothes out of the suitcase. There were only two drawers (one has the safe in it which took up the whole drawer and the other had blankets which took up that drawer). There was an open closet rack that had only about 4-5 hangers. Beautiful renovation. About a 20-25 min walk to the main area of downtown. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately, hot tub under renovation, but able to use the neighboring hotel (but that lacked a bit in comfort, space and quality). Overall a nice stay.

Room itself is great, but we were in the wing being renovated still and the A/C didn't work which kept us up all night. The atrium light stayed on all night which I was told was "for the safety of the construction workers". They dont work at night! Turn the lights off! We weren't told that we couldn't use some of the entrances, so it was a pain taking luggage in the rain and then up and down stairs. Yeah, there wasn't a working elevator! Just not worth what we paid for!

Absolutely horrific, would give 0 stars if i could. Was not made aware that the indoor area of the hotel was under construction until arrival. When checking in, there was no parking due to construction equipment. We were given a room on the 3rd floor (but no elevator) despite my husband having a knee injury and being in a brace. Our concerns about accessibility were brushed off as we were told we could get house keeping to help with our bags (but that wasn’t the issue). When we finally got to our room, there was dust EVERYWHERE and the air conditioning did not work in either of the 2 rooms booked for my party. Maintenance came and spent 30 minutes turning the AC unit on and off before telling us we would be moved to another room and someone would come up to move us. 30 minutes later, no one came so we called the front desk and were told someone was coming but they didn’t arrive for another 30 minutes after that. By the time we actually went to bed, it was past midnight. We were told we could not be accommodated in any way since the construction was not “impacting our experience” even though it clearly was AND construction was set to start at 7:00 in the morning. I have never had such an awful experience. Travelers, STAY AWAY!!!

Still under construction which we did know about in advance. Property staff were great but not having an elevator to our floor was ridiculous. They offered to carry up our luggage but it was still a walk up from floor 2 to 3 each time. Insufficient parking was the biggest obstacle. We ended up parking in the staff quarters area and even that was a battle. The shared amenities with the other sister hotels was fine but we did not use them and i am not sure anyone would walk 10 minutes to use a workout facility in Jasper. They offered a rebate from the booking which was appreciated but I will wait to see if that comes through. The check in clerk thought it was already applied which is incorrect. I have a lot of tolerance as they have to open during peak tourist season to generate revenue but this was a mixed bag for us. Super clean hotel as it is practically new.

We stayed in a kitchenette room on the main floor of the Alpine Wing. There was construction taking place on the other wing, scheduled to be completed by July 31, 2026, but it did not significantly impact our stay. The pool and laundry facilities were closed; however, we were able to use the facilities at the sister hotel just across the side street. This was only a minor inconvenience. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. Since it was a kitchenette, it would have been helpful if the hotel had provided extra trash bags so that food waste could be disposed of more conveniently. Parking was good, and for winter guests there were A/C power outlets available, as well as an EV charging station. Although the hotel is located on the edge of Jasper, we did not find the location inconvenient. Overall, we had a good stay and would consider staying here again.

The place is being refurbished. Not fire related. It was meant to be complete. It wasn’t. So no pool, spa, gym, restaurant etc. no apology and no refund offered. When challenged they gave 10% discount, which they said was being given as standard to all guests - except me - as I had to apply for it. 10% seems pathetic when you consider all the things you paid for were unavailable. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s complete. But I wouldn’t trust the management with its underhand tactics.
