We only stayed 3 nights in Forest park hotel, but we're very happy with the stay. Staffs are very polite and friendly, yet professional. Felt very welcomed once you talked to them. Rooms are very clean, with stuffed small kitchen, We do have balcony to sit and see the scenery outside. Overall we're very happy, highly recommend to everyone, hope we can go back again when the renovation is done.

We stayed in a kitchenette room on the main floor of the Alpine Wing. There was construction taking place on the other wing, scheduled to be completed by July 31, 2026, but it did not significantly impact our stay. The pool and laundry facilities were closed; however, we were able to use the facilities at the sister hotel just across the side street. This was only a minor inconvenience. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. Since it was a kitchenette, it would have been helpful if the hotel had provided extra trash bags so that food waste could be disposed of more conveniently. Parking was good, and for winter guests there were A/C power outlets available, as well as an EV charging station. Although the hotel is located on the edge of Jasper, we did not find the location inconvenient. Overall, we had a good stay and would consider staying here again.

Great location at the edge of town. Clean, modern and a great walk in to town and Starbucks next door for the city slickers.

My wife and I booked in advance and immediately received a response to say that the hotel was undergoing new construction works, therefore we had to use facilities at their sister hotels. I responded straightaway asking to be moved to one of their sister hotels, but received no further response. On arrival, we spent a lot of time with the staff management to secure a room with a shower (not a bath). We were initially told that we would have to move on the second night into a room with a bath because the room that we got for the first night was booked for another guest on our second night. The next morning, the management kindly let us continue to stay in the same room with a shower. At least, the management did help to meet our needs (we are both in our 70s and a bath presents safety risks, slipping and falling). The hotel itself is first class. No doubt, when construction is completed, the hotel would be outstanding, only second to Fairmont Lodge. In general, the hotel is well maintained, clean, and very helpful staff. They even arranged a revised time for our boat cruise on Lake Maligne promptly.

Rooms are newly renovated…that’s the good. The staff was not helpful. We were in the woodland wing. Renovations were supposed to be completed on June 30 2026 as per the message we received when booking. This was not the case. If you are in the woodland wing, there is no elevator so you will need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs so travel light as the staff does not offer to help. We found out that 90% of hotels and activities in jasper are owned by an American company called Pursuit. They seem to hire a lot of Brits
