Excellent facilities. Located in a very convenient location

I booked a room with one bed, upon check in I was told that I got an upgrade and with 2 beds which I didn’t mind but the room felt like a downgrade rather. the location is towards the far end corner, there was a spider in the washroom, the AC was so loud it kept turning on and off through the night and disrupted our sleep.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Bonaventure Montréal. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The hotel has such a unique atmosphere—it’s hard to believe you’re in the heart of downtown with the beautiful rooftop gardens, ponds, and walking paths creating such a peaceful escape. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the heated rooftop pool, which was amazing to enjoy regardless of the weather. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, Old Montréal, and public transit. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I would highly recommend Hotel Bonaventure Montréal to anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Montréal!

Wonderful hotel close to many attractions. 24 hour coffee bar was the best!

This place was just okay. Room view was nice but air didn't work well and TV was broken. The phone wasn't plugged into anything either so I had to try to call from my cell to get a towel because there wasn't one in my room. The pool looked nice but I was only here one night for business so did not use. I would not stay here again with so many hotels in the area that are a better match. Just expected more for $300.

Our stay at Hotel Bonaventure Montreal was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The hotel offers a unique oasis in the heart of the city, combining comfort, convenience, and beautiful surroundings. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. The location was perfect for exploring Montreal, with many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas within easy reach. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the cafe machine and incredible hot tub and rooftop pool. Swimming outdoors while surrounded by beautiful gardens and city views was such a unique and relaxing experience. The heated pool was enjoyable at any time of day and quickly became our favorite part of the hotel. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat above the bustling city. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to our next visit. We would highly recommend Hotel Bonaventure Montreal to anyone visiting the city and looking for a memorable and relaxing experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 - We can’t wait to return!

Great location in the downtown.

This used to be the destination hotel in Montreal. We were very excited to go. Unfortunately, the hotel has fallen on hard times. Poor service (no valet available to park the car or help us with our bags. No in/out parking available to us. Restaurant was incredibly understaffed and slow to the point we ended up getting up and leaving having sat unattended for 30 minutes. We mentioned issues to the front desk and received only shrugs. Quite unfortunate. In Montreal, there are so many excellent choices. Give the Bonaventure a pass.

There is no ice on multiple ice machines. There is no notice why the ice machines are not working. The room seems clean, but I got two bites on my right leg when I waked up.

Since I hosted a conference there in 2023, I will never stay at any other hotel in Montreal. The service is excellent, the rooms and spaces clean and modern, and it is convenient to all forms of transportation (Métro, train, bus to and from the airport).

Beautiful resort in a great location. You can park right at the hotel which is super convenient. Parking was a bit pricey though. There seems to be a ton of spots so no worries there. There is a gym that’s very clean and user friendly with both cardio and weights. The pool was very nice but gets super crowded with people reserving chairs with towels for the day and not being present at all. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Halls can be noisy but white noise when you sleep helps with that. Hotel staff and front desk were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The pool was excellent.

Some hallway carpets are worn and presented potential tripping hazards. One coffee machine in the lobby was out of order. Room was clean and mostly well kept. Outside gardens were nice to look at but strange smells kept me from enjoying them.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for three days, including my newborn in a stroller and two young children. Despite traveling with small kids, we were assigned a room at the far end of the hotel, making it very inconvenient to reach, especially with a stroller and children. The room also had ants and cockroaches. I ignored it on the first day, but when I saw even more insects on the second day, I recorded a video and showed it to the front desk. The staff eventually changed our room, but unfortunately, we had to spend the first two nights in those poor conditions and only stayed in the new room for our last night. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast buffet. Breakfast was served until 11:30 a.m., and we arrived at 10:40 a.m., well within the serving hours. However, almost all the food was finished. When I politely asked a waitress if they could refill the items, since there was still plenty of time left, she replied, “Come early if you want to have breakfast.” I was shocked by such an unprofessional and rude response. I travel frequently and understand that issues can happen, but what truly matters is how a hotel handles them. Unfortunately, this hotel failed in both hospitality and customer service. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to families traveling with young children.

Loved my stay at Hotel Bonneadventure! Staff were amazing and we could not get enough of the hot tub and heated pool! perfect after a long day of sightseeing.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Outdoor pool - fabulous! Gym - fabulous! Staff - fabulous! Only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough.
