I would say it was a great choice for a stay in Montreal, because of its central location, which made it easy to explore different areas of the city. The rooms are very clean and comfortable (nothing particularly luxurious or unique), but they had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The pool area is definitely a nice bonus, although it can get quite crowded during holidays and family vacation periods, so it wasn't necessarily a relaxing pool experience. Still, it was wonderful to have access to the water after a day of exploring the city. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a clean, comfortable and conveniently located hotel that does the job very well.

I paid for breakfast and was told by staff I didn’t. We were on holiday and had a lot of activities planned therefore I didn’t dig to see but when I got my invoice it clearly states, room and breakfast 3 times (each night). Check in clerk was rude and un helpful, we ordered door dash and instead of showing the dasher to our room they let him wander for a good 15 mins before he ended up calling me because he was lost. The hotel is very nice , damp -hot pool and pond , was expected , but the staff and service are sub par. Maintenance crew, pool bartender, and valet were the only friendly smiling staff . Restaurant staff were rude, like they didn’t want to be there, same for the check in/ check out staff , nobody smiles. We will not be back.

We had a lovely stay while attending Osheaga. The hotel is centrally located and a 15 minute walk from Old Montreal. The roof top garden with the ducks and geese made the stay therapeutic. The pool, while sometimes a bit crowded, offered a nice oasis mid-day during our stay. The room was clean and the staff were welcoming and kind. Would stay again!

This place had everything (once you found the reception area on the 10th floor) - it even smells like a spa when you walk in!! The food at the restaurants were all top notch - Guy was always so welcoming at the breakfast buffet. The only thing I found annoying was the fact that we couldn’t find the elevator and had to carry all of our luggage up to the higher floor (I believe this hotel is only 2 levels). It’s across the street from the ViA and a block away from great restaurants and nightlife and the pool hours were long 7am-11pm so you didn’t feel restricted. I hope to stay here again in the future!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Hotel Bonaventure Montréal! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions we had. Their excellent service really made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautiful, and all of the amenities were well maintained and very useful. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight and one of the reasons we chose this hotel—it did not disappoint! The buffet breakfast was good and had a nice selection of items. The only suggestion I would make is to offer a few more options to accommodate different tastes and dietary preferences. That said, everything we tried was fresh and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, a great location, and outstanding staff, I highly recommend Hotel Bonaventure Montréal.
