Free car park Spacious room but bed had clearly not been moved as there was rubbish under it Stayed in 551 - no warning that despite double glazing you hear every word of announcements at line st station - try and stay at front of hotel. Check in staff were very helpful. The young male who checked us out needed a little bit more training. Good bar attached to hotel. Didn’t eat there but restaurant was quite busy.

Very nice clean room. Enjoyed my stay at the Liner. Two things I want to mention. I was on the third floor, and the hot water for a shower took several minutes to reach my bathroom. If this the same for all the rooms, that is an awful lot of wasted water. The sound proofing between rooms is not the best. With that said, I would stay there again!

A lot of noise made sleep tricky - the mini bar fridge was super loud, the announcements from the station next door, and TVs from other rooms. No climate control so keeping the room at a comfortable temperature was tricky. Staff on the check-in desk were checked out, not particularly welcoming. However, bed was really comfortable, it's nice to have a bath and there is a lot to do near by. I didn't have breakfast, so no idea if it's good.

A budget option and to some extent you get what you pay for. But you could hear the PA system announcements from Lime Street station, and the pipework/radiators clicking woke me up several times. Beds were bouncy/springy, creaky. Pillows were poor. Overall decor dated. Staff were nice, check in and out smooth. Didn't use the bar/restaurant but it looked popular.

The hotel was ok, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just a short walk from Lime Street Station, but the hill up to it is fairly steep, which was a bit too much for one o my friends. Breakfast was plentiful, and varied. There’s also a a couple of local pubs that stay open till midnight, if you like a late drink near the hotel.

Ideal location to the city - close enough to walk yet far away enough for quieter surroundings although some rooms may be interrupted by the noise of the train station as it’s literally located behind the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean, although a little on the warm side and difficult to sleep with the window open due to noise from the train station. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was ok, eat/drink as much or as little as you like. Hotel was pretty clean. Towels and room cleaned daily All in all a pleasant stay and the Castaway Bar next door was a bonus

Great location for the train station or if driving as has its own car park. Short walk to the centre, but far enough away for a good nights sleep. Close to merseyrail station for the Liverpool loop.
