Excellent location - shopping, restaurants, and convenience stores are right at your doorstep. We stayed as a family with 5 yr old twins and found the rooms spacious enough, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing, and we loved the atmosphere around the hotel. Overall, a great stay for families.

Great hotel with an excellent location and a wonderful breakfast buffet. One of the reception staff members, an older gentleman with glasses, was especially helpful and made a great impression. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for his name. On the other hand, one of the middle-aged ladies at the reception seemed to be in a bad mood and was not as welcoming. However, this did not significantly affect my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Staffs are very helpful and have great suggestion for luggage transfer, off-site laundry, etc. The hotel location also makes this place the highlight of our Japan trip.

We stayed here after four days in Tokyo and the hotel is located right in the thick of Kyoto. You are a short walk from Gion and around the corner from A+ shopping but still very much on the heart of Kyoto which we enjoyed. The property is quiet and beautiful and shipping luggage to the airport was a breeze thanks to the staff highly recommend. Breakfast wasn’t bad either
