Great hotel, great staff very lovely and helpful! Only complaint was there were some elevators down however the staff helped accommodate by allowing us to use the service elevators as needed.

I am so happy my family, and I decided to go with this hotel. It was in the center, it was also walking distance to many taco shops, 10 minute walk from the plaza, it was an accessible spot. The nights we were there they had a beautiful violinist and a pianist playing at the bar. The hotel was gorgeous, the staff were amazing and attentive. I would definitely come back and highly recommend.

Our stay at Barceló México Reforma was wonderful. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the staff consistently warm and attentive. Its location made getting around Mexico City easy, and the breakfast and amenities—especially the bar and restaurants —added to a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing and convenient stay in the heart of the city.

My stay at Barceló Mexico Reforma was a mixed experience. While there were several aspects of the hotel that I genuinely enjoyed, my overall stay was overshadowed by repeated communication failures between management and the restaurant staff. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and of a high standard. I also enjoyed the breakfast selection, which offered plenty of choice and good-quality food. In addition, the room service was excellent, with both the quality of the meals and the service meeting my expectations. Unfortunately, every single morning at breakfast I had to explain to a different waiter that my breakfast was covered under an open tab. It became frustrating and exhausting to have the same conversation day after day. This issue should have been easily avoided. It is not difficult for the catering team to hold a brief daily meeting to review which guests have breakfast tabs or special arrangements in place, ensuring all waiting staff are aware before service begins. Although a manager apologised for the inconvenience, I was disappointed that I later had to remind him about the complimentary amenities I had been promised because of the original issue. These were eventually provided, and I appreciated that they honoured the commitment. However, the fact that I had to raise the matter again only highlighted the ongoing communication problems between management and the restaurant. Overall, I don't dislike Barceló Mexico Reforma, but I have stayed in better hot

As a VIP guest, I was supposed to receive early check-in, but I arrived around 10:00 a.m. and my room wasn't available until exactly 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, there was no recognition of the VIP benefit. The hotel also doesn't have the most comfortable or inviting lobby, which made the wait even less enjoyable. The biggest issue throughout our stay was the elevators. On the first day, none of the four guest elevators were working, so everyone had to use the single service elevator alongside hotel staff. It was constantly overcrowded and resulted in long waits. On the second day, only one guest elevator was operating, and for the remainder of our stay only two were working. The VIP lounge on the 12th floor was also under construction. It smelled dusty and humid, which made the experience far from relaxing. Another disappointment was the designated smoking area in the lobby. Although it's separated by glass doors, they are constantly opening and closing, allowing cigarette smoke to spread throughout the lobby. The entire area often smelled more like a nightclub than a hotel. Housekeeping was inconsistent as well. Our room was occupied by four people, yet they repeatedly left only three towels. Overall, the room didn't feel particularly clean, and the hotel itself feels dated and in need of renovation. Overall, this stay was disappointing and did not meet the expectations of a VIP guest. I won't be staying here again, and unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel.

Everything was great, but the hotel had just one working elevator out of 4, so going up and down would take way longer. This happened all four days we started at the hotel. On pick hours (morning for breakfast and around dinner) it could take up to 15 minutes to get into the elevator!
