This hotel was top tier. The staff is very friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily. The buffet was fresh and had a good variety. We had experienced our first earthquake there while in Mexico City and the staff handled the situation professionally and kept calm during the event. We would recommend our family and friends to this hotel because of the value, cleanliness and location is excellent and central to all tourist attractions.

The good The hotel was clean, staff were accommodating, and the Starbucks in the lobby was convenient! The valet employees were friendly and fast every time. The bad The elevators were very slow, food was 3/10 (not fresh tasting and not good quality ingredients). My main complaint is how the staff treated us after my toddler had a meltdown in the lobby one night. My son(4yrs) was crying screaming for a few seconds and after we got into our hotel room the manager and police came knocking on the door. This was a bad look on their part. I get that no one wants to hear a child have a tantrum, but neither did I, and on top of it I had the police at my door. Definitely made a stressful situation worse.

The customer service at this hotel from the managers and reception is the worst. Their system is antiquated, bad attitude, rude, at front desk, badly organized, constantly checking your room number at the club level. I stayed at the Hyatt before, it also has indoor pool, but it is a higher level of service. I am going back there. I will never start at this hotel again. Stay away if you want good service, responsiveness.

The pool was not warm during service hours. You had to ask the staff to turn on the heaters and it took more than 2 hours to feel warm. Stream in sauna was also not on during service hours and you had to ask to get it on. Staff was nice, but not upstanding.
