Norway or Kingdom of Norway in the official records is a unitary sovereign state situated at the Northwestern part of Europe, in which its main territory consists of a western and northernmost portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula; the remote island of Jan Mayen and the archipelago of Svalbard.
