Like the other says, it was a compact but comfortable room hotel. Perfect location as it is close to almost everything in central, you can get to most places in free trams, several good cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Almost perfect, however disappointing customer service. Guess it depends on individual, but 1 or 2 particular permanent front desk showed unwillingness to help, overall still good, just need to improve front desk service. It also would be great if the amenities added in microwave oven/shared kitchen for use of guests, hand towel, room slippers.

It’s my first time visit melbourne and City square is a great way for your first stay. It close to every thing and the man at the reception is very helpful. The room is not that new but It have everything you need, it can put my 2 large luggage and still have a space. Airport skybus pick-up and drop-off are about 2 minute walking, it so easy if you have a large luggage.

The staff were friendly and personable which made the stay at the yti garden hotel much more pleasurable and stress free. Also the rooms were kept in good condition. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we definitely considering yti garden hotel again for our next trip to melbourne!

I love the hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs, very good location and affordable price too. The room is spacious with nice city view over the big windows. I didn’t hear any noises from the club as I was staying on weekdays. Would definitely recommend and go back.

There is no housekeeping on daily basis. Was told they only do housekeeping on the 3rd day based on my duration of stay. I thought housekeeping is the minimal as we expect to have clean beds and clean toilets after long day outgoing. This is quite a disappointment.

They don’t have 24-hr front desk as mentioned, information about this hotels needs to be updated. We arrived at the hotel at 6am. the waiting area in front of the front desk so tiny and very cold. We had no issue if we can’t do an early check in. However please make the lobby more comfortable.
I booked 2 rooms, but the heater in room 917 didnt fully function as we still felt freezing inside the room, though we have turned it on all day long. No issue in the 2nd room.
On our 2nd day the emergency alarm rang. All guests came down through emergency stairs,. I travelled with my 78yrs old mom. The on duty staff only explained that someone press the emergency button, and they will look to the cctv. Where is the security for the guests?
Despite the strategic location, I did not recommend to stay here, better you book to another hotel in the same area with better condition.

Location is very convenient to the free tram stops, shops, and QVM. The hotel and room is clean and comfortable, and is also kids-friendly with their small corner for kids to read and play down at the lobby. Property is secure too and they had assisted us with storage luggage when we arrived early before the check in time. Staffs are helpful and friendly.
