Booked this online and thought we were booking a regular room in a hotel in Old Quebec. As it turns out, we had booked an apartment next door to the hotel, which is part of the hotel. Room 16 was amazing! It had a beautiful living room with views overlooking the park across the street, a dining room, a piano!, a kitchen that was beautiful-better than our kitchen at home!, and a King-sized bedroom. Bathroom was nice also. Only challenge was the water in the shower went from freezing to scalding and it was a bit hard to control, but we figured it out. 5-minute walk to everything in Old Town Quebec. Hotel is set apart from the busiest part of Old Quebec so it’s very quiet, but you can be at any restaurant within 2-8 minutes. Breakfast was continental, but with amazing croissants, chocolate croissants and crepes, coffee, tea, small amount of fresh fruit. Would definitely stay there again.

The lamp by the bed had no electric outlet. I had to move a lamp from the other room. It had an outlet but the on off switch for the light was broken. I turned the light off by unscrewing the bulb. I did switch the lamps back before I left.

I like the location- close to Chinatown and Metro stations. There are a lot of convenience stores and places to eat open late. The hotel staff are great. They even offered to store our baggage after check out so we can go around before our evening flight back home. Breakfast is good, but tends to get crowded in the dining areas as it’s small. Our room is big with a kitchenette, making it convenient if you want to do take outs and heat up food. Housekeeping every 2 days is okay , and they gave us plenty of towels. Only drawback may be is the $50 hold they charge for every night stay though it comes off after 5 to 10 business days, so make sure just to use a credit card for that.

Writing right after check in. To come in after driving 7 hours at nearly 10 pm to stand in a line for 15 -20 minutes for checking in was not nice. Last time also I mentioned- parking is very expensive- nearby parking lots are available for lesssl than half the price. There should be a highly reduced rate for hotel guests. Staff are always very nice & kind including this time.

Liked the convenient location, fair sized room with comfortable beds, and relatively good breakfasts helped to start the day. But the room especially the washroom need upgrades badly! Also some small stuff like a kettle and paper towles would add conveniences for the stay.

There is a kitchen but there are no items for it. I had to buy cutlery, a plate, and glasses (only paper stocked) for wine. The inside of the fridge had not been wiped down from the last guests, and I found out while I was in the shower that the body wash was empty. When I asked the front desk about it, they just gave me a small bar of soap and didn’t make efforts to get it filled. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but could use a bathroom upgrade, especially with the lighting as it is a bit dark.

I only gave this review 3 stars because 1. The bathroom was very old. It just didn’t look clean and the bottom of the tub was rusted, giving it a dirty appearance. And 2. Parking for the hotel is very hard to find, especially at night. It was down a dimly lit alley and the “door” to the garage looked like a plain black wall. No signs to help you find it, etc. We pulled up to it and didn’t see anything. Then we called the hotel and they told us you have to pull up VERY close to the door and it will open. We had pulled up close the first time so we got closer the second time and it opened. It didn’t feel safe to me. But the room was a great size and the beds were good. The kitchenette is outdated but it was great to have one in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
