Great property well located huge huge rooms. The only small hiccup is there’s no air-conditioning but they provide lots of fans. In Victoria, when you’re so close to the water even in the middle of July, we didn’t really need air-conditioning. We just didn’t realize it didn’t have it. I think it’s the age of the hotel. Still great hotel will definitely use it again

Check in was a bit awkward. No one was manning the front counter and I had to yell for someone after waiting a few minutes to see if someone would show up. The receptionist didn’t seem please I interrupted her from the back room. Nor was she seemed wanting to help when I asked her where park lot was. I didn’t get a good vibe from staff. Hotel itself was in a good location to main tourist spots. It was an older hotel so the decor was rather dated and dark. However , it was clean. Biggest drawback was no ac. Because our room was facing the parking lot, we couldn’t keep window open over night otherwise the car engines would be our alarm to get up. It didn’t help anyway.

Royal Scot is convenient to the ferry terminal and all of the tourist area of Victoria. The rooms are spacious and clean. The property does not have air conditioning so the rooms on the 4th floor get warm, but they do cool off at night. There is adequate free parking. We are looking forward to returning
