This is a great little hotel, big rooms, friendly staff, but it is old and has no air con. Now thats its corporate owned i hope they keep the charm but do some upgrading /remodeling.

Great experience all around. Old 70s apartments, with fully equipped kitchens. Comfortable, very walkable location for many attractions, shopping and food. Desk staff was helpful and friendly.
Absolutely will chose this hotel again when in Victoria!

This was a fabulous place to stay, Price is in Victoria for astounding so, although this was expensive, it was reasonable in comparison to other hotels. It is an older place and there is no air-conditioning and the elevator is, but these are really the only downfalls. The staff was absolutely amazing, helpful and kind. The location was perfect for downtown sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this to others.

If you prefer older motels/hotels without air conditioning and no balcony, then this place is perfect for you.
I gave this place a try, but unfortunately, the staff and hotel did not meet my expectations.
I arrived early, to see if any room was available. The couple ahead had no issues, but the gentlemen that helped me really did not help and lacked customer service and was somewhat rude and dismissive. You could tell he was just wanting to say NO and carrying an attitude.
I will not be recommending this place to friends and colleagues.You are
better off staying at the Huntington Manor with the mice. As someone who travels 3 weeks a month, this place is a disappointment. I always wanted to stay here and enjoy the character of an older vacation spot, but this place failed in every aspect of my 1 night stay.
