I stayed here because I had work-related business near the hotel. The reception asked for Rp 100.000 for security. I thought because the hotel had snacks or beverages in the minibar. But the receptionist said no, and it was guarantee money, for the key card. The money would be returned when the key card was already returned. Weird, because in my experience, hotels ask for guarantee money usually had mini bars. No more hotels ask for it just for the key card. Maybe there were many cases of stolen key card or some kind in this hotel. The room was okay. It had small balcony. All of the lamps was not bright enouh, just dim. It's really annoying not having even just one lamp that's bright. Even so in the hallway. It's a big hallway, and with dim lights it felt kind of spooky. The bed was not clean. Not really that dirty, but there were obvious dirt spots. The bathroom was fully functional. Actually, this was the only positive thing that I got from the hotel. Many hotels had the same of problem of the shower getting clogged in some spots. I couldn't comment in the service because I only met with the receptionist, and it was just standard. I didn't expect much because I stayed here just to rest. But I would not stay here again. I didn't realize it when I booked the room, but this was actually a 4 star hotel. I don't really care how many stars the hotel had, but you gotta at least give the service accordingly to the price. It felt like I was staying in a hotel that's priced half from this hotel. Please provide at least one bright light in the room. I don't think it will increase the cost that much. And please clean the bedsheets properly.
