First few nights we stayed across from the fitness center which is open 24/7, it was pretty loud with people talking throughout the night (it was also the weekend so hotel was fully booked with young people in town for sports tournaments) and so I asked the front desk staff to move, the manager was incredibly helpful and moved us to another floor which was much quieter. The beds are not that comfortable but overall the place is adequate. The free breakfast and breakfast area is super packed, the coffee is good. Good, secured, underground free parking. I liked the location and easy access to the highway.

Excellent location just a short walking distance from Via Rail Station and OTrain direct line downtown. Staff should do more to encourage use of the OTrain. Very easy ticketing system and short ride to primary tourist destinations at Parliament and Rideau Stations. Friendly, helpful,staff.Loblaws grocery store about a kilometre away. Excellent breakfast buffet, could use a second waffle maker. Nice that we were permitted to store our bags for a few hours on our departure date for some last minute sightseeing. Don’t miss the Rideau Canal!

This hotel was amazing!! I love their breakfast every morning from 6am-10am. The pool here is also really fun to swim in, very relaxing and soo big. The staff here is also really nice and sweet. I wish every hotel i stayed at was as nice as this one!!

It’s a good experience to stay here for the first night in Ottawa. Breakfast is also diversified in selection. More bakery would be better.

Perfectly located right next to the O train station and 417 highway. Good for travelers using car or transit. Fair price as well. Rooms have lots of space for luggage. Underground parking available on a first come first serve basis.

Clean room, good size, nice coffee bar. Breakfast was good.

Oberall an excellent stay and all the staff were wonderful and interested in making our stay very positive

Didn’t eat breakfast. It was too busy. People going crazy and pushing themselves through the line. We just left and went somewhere else for breakfast. This is more of a comment on the people and should not reflect on the hotel.

Room is spacious, clean, bed is comfy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only downside is that too many people at breakfast and not enough seating - was chaotic and this was my 2nd stay here and same issue. Later evening parking not available underground as usually full quickly and parking available in convention center parking lot and no cost. Just make sure you register your car so no surprises.

We had a fantastic stay here. The breakfast is incredible - it’s fresh and there is a lot of options, both hot and cold. There is no hot tub, however we utilized both the pool and the gym and both were spacious and very clean. We were there for a sports tournament over a few days and the staff was super friendly and accommodating (extra towels / supplies, helping us find a freezer for ice packs etc). The rooms are large and clean and the hotel overall was very clean and bright. The elevator did break down while we were there, but the staff was diligent about having a technician there quickly to fix it. Lots of parking available. Highly recommend!

Friendly staffs and clean rooms with microwave. Good size room. Pool and gym in the 4th floor. Dining area is a bit small with limited selection food for breakfast.

The kids enjoyed the pool very much and I appreciated the laundry room to dry their clothes. All the staff was exceedingly friendly and polite. Very pleasant stay.

The staff made out stay exceptional. I will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn again. I was really impressed with the cleanliness, the friendly service and especially Sara at the front check in counter. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and has a wealth of knowledge for visitors to the capital.
