The Bentley London

This property is conveniently located to the underground which is nice going to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and helped meet our every need. A staff member will call to confirm your reservation before arrival which is nice. I was told we would be able to check in a little early,only to find that we could not. The hotel will hold your bags if you arrive prior to check in. I thought the property was nice, however, there were stains on the carpet, a light switch didn't really work, and the furniture was a bit worn. The beds were comfortable and there was daily cleaning of the room. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this hotel to those traveling to London, even though the price point is on the higher end.

Lovely stay in this historic hotel. Excellent service, old marble interiors and well located for the Royal Albert Hall, V A and Natural History Museum. Rooms are a little dated but everything else was perfect for our stay.

From the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out. It was a fabulous hotel to stay in. Clean, warm and very welcoming. The staff are excellent, very polite and informative. Can’t wait to visit again.

This is a very unique stay. I liked the property with its marble floors and beautiful lobby. It hasn’t been updated in a while, so if you stay with an open mind, it’s excellent. The part of town it’s in is great. One thing I would mention is the breakfast spread is expensive and didn’t have much on there. I opted to skip it once I saw it.

Another wonderful stay at The Bentley. Beautifully decorated, quiet street close to parks, shops and restaurants all within walking distance and the staff always polite, professional and attentive. Such a delight to stay; a home from home, and I look forward to visiting again soon!

The room was freezing, and wouldn’t heat up despite having the heating on full blast. Realised just how cold it was at about 4am but to avoid waking our little one who hadn’t been sleeping properly, we just layered up with our clothes. Felt like a scene from titanic. Front reception weren’t very helpful in the morning saying we should’ve told them but not understanding that we couldn’t wake our baby in the middle of the night, and that the heating should just be working so we shouldn’t have to move around anyway. Wanted to make this stay an annual tradition for our little one’s birthday, but can’t see a situation where we’ll stay again - my wife and my baby have blocked noses.

My stay at The Bentley London was wonderful. Primarily visiting for a weekend of Christmas shopping with friends in London, but this hotel really was an unexpected delight. Everywhere was booked up with only a handful of hotel options left within the Kensington and Chelsea Borough. I am so glad I left my booking too late so that I got to discover this magical place. The rooms are exceptional; quiet, clean, individually decorated, spacious and the decor just exquisite. The staff were very professional, polite and attentive. I enjoyed my stay so much that I returned again the following weekend for another visit, but to my absolute delight the hotel upgraded my room to an Ashbourne suite! It was just fabulous - I didn't want to leave! The hotel is on a quiet street and only a moments walk to South Kensington bars and restaurants. The stroll into Knightsbridge and Sloane Square is also very easy (30 minutes walk approximately) but there are several tube stations only a few minutes walk away and also several bus routes nearby. Cabs also frequently pass the front of the hotel. My only regret was not making time to eat in the beautiful restaurant or to use the spa facilities. I regularly have weekend stays in London either side of my travel for work and this trip was by far the most special having discovered the hidden gem that is The Bentley London. Beautiful room for special occasion

At first glance very beautiful and friendly. Then you get a feel of the hotel that is in decline. And DEFINITELY don't do the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is way overpriced. Didn't try T time. Overall, freindly staff. Just not all that professional for a 4star.

Excellent staff, polite, helpful, knowledgeable. Some facilities were not available. Spa was lovely and very skilled staff. Really beautifully decorated hotel.

Another great stay. Service is great. They even called me the day before to check my arrival time to ensure my room was ready. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Gym in the basement was being renovated, but the rest of the spa was looking great - especially the Turkish bath. Out of all places I've stayed at in it's price range, I would say this is the best. If you aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg at something like The Milestone, you can get a similar experience here.

Elegant hotel on a quiet street close to amenities. Very good

The building is a lovely old Dame. But I booked a hotel walking distance from The royal Albert hall so I could relax in the beautiful bar the hotel show on the website. Arrived to a horrible smell of damp. The Bar and Spar area had been closed for 1 month. I had no warning of this. The hotel was soulless. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. The shower was so hot and could not be adjusted that we could not use it. Arrived home from the concert and the hotel was half in darkness. We sat in the seating area in the dark for 10 minutes until someone put the light on when they brought us a coffee. This was a special treat for my friend and myself for a special Birthday. I was really not very impressed and would not recommend.

I adored our stay at the Bentley. Such a grand old hotel with sumptuously comfortable rooms, attentive and professional staff and a delicious Afternoon Tea option. I plan to make the Bentley my London base on future trips.

The rooms are in a terrible condition and filthy. Carpets are terribly stained, curtains are dirty, headboards are stained, shower floor and door are covered in lime/silt, most of the room surfaces were dusty. Housekeeping forgot to service one of the rooms one of the days. 2 towels were stained (not by us), so we put them in the bath to be replaced. Housekeeping simply hung them up without replacing. Used a glass to dissolve some medicine. Housekeeping did not remove it, they just turned it upside down to pretend it was clean. This was all after we complained to management about the state of the rooms. It’s such a pity because the hotel is in a good location and rooms are big, but it feels like you’re staying in a gross motel. The other reviews are too polite when they say that the rooms need a refresh. They need to be completely refurbished!

Great neighbourhood

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but within 2-3 minute walking distance to underground and shop for essentials (food & drink). Hotel staff very helpful, upgraded us to a king room which was lovely. Towels were luxurious - bath and a shower. Shower had good pressure and was warm. Unfortunately couldn't get spa bath working but that was a minor issue. One small irritant however for me was the bedroom carpet. I could have been doing with a clean as there were a few stains on it. Would definately go back again to this hotel.

Parking is at the nearby Millennium Casino Hotel. It presents well, especially if you like red velvet, gilding and marble!
