I would've given a 5 star, but we were 3 occupants and every day I had to call to remind them about the extra set of towels, very annoying and the fact that I wasn't allowed to enjoy a snack by the pool unless it was bought at the hotel and the variety on the spot is very limited.

The room was clean, but needs an update. The hotel itself is very nice with 3 restaurants to choose from. We stayed over for an early flight out. Very convenient with the close proximity to the airport and a free airport shuttle..

Service was outstanding, clean rooms and a nice piano bar for the family

We have been staying here for years. We love this hotel. We had to get to the airport before breakfast. Dinner the night before was delicious. We chose the buffet. The hotel staff is always kind and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Good place to stay and frindly environment

My husband made the reservation and staff told him that I could take a shuttle to the airport at 4 pm. When I checked in today, they told me the 4 am shuttle is full. Now, I need to find my own transportation to the airport. The point of staying in this hotel is the proximity to the airport and the shuttle. Thus, there is no point to stay here if I need to find my own transportation to the airport. It is creating a lot of stress and anxiety. No worth it.

Great staff and clean room

The hotel staff and food was fabulous. Security is over the top. Everything went great. We will be returning to this hotel When in Guatemala. Fabulous place 5 stars.

Brekfast excellent at La Fuente. The bar snacks are very good. The best server was ROMULO. He is really good. The day he was off the service was terrible. The kid with glasses need more training.

Great staff, clean room, Premium Level worth every nickel.

The worst hotel stay of my life. Didn’t sleep at all. One night it was noisy because of the club next door. The next night the families in the adjacent rooms had crying kids and loud snoring. The rooms have connecting doors and you can hear everything—even the woman ordering her breakfast in the morning. The housekeepers are so loud on the morning too and talk a lot and it made it hard to rest. They gave me a headache. All the staff is mildly nice but doesn’t try to help much. The property is old and the elevator got stuck with me and an entire family in it, I called the emergency phone but the man who answered didn’t sound concerned at all when I told him I was claustrophobic. At least they sent a medic to check on us once we got out. It had been stuck the day before too but no one said anything and they didn’t close the elevator so they were letting people ride it at their own risk. The spa is trashy. The towel they use on the massage table looks like it’s been used since they built the hotel. The massage wasn’t very good either. The only nice thing they did was send a nurse to help escort me downstairs after getting stuck in the elevator, as id had a panic attack because of my claustrophobia. I was very exhausted and had panic attacks after my stay. Do not stay here if you want to relax and sleep. Also checking in is very very slow.

Room was great staff was excellent

The negatives I found were that the shower head was very intense and the angle didn't lower and I am 5'7", which made the water puddle up everywhere on the bathroom floor, the room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke, and they did not provide cheap slippers. Other than that, it was a comfortable room, bed, space, areas and had restaurants inside the hotel, there was plenty security staff around, great decor and beautiful hotel. Breakfast was great, strikers restaurant is ok and the kyoto Japanese restaurant was good, quiet, friendly staff, and warm ambiance.
