Hotel feels posh the moment I stepped in and it’s one of the most spacious and comfortable hotel rooms that I’ve stayed in Japan so far. It’s also along the famous Kamo River (book river view room if possible). It’s also strategically located within walking distance of Sanjo train station and within a 10-20 minute walk to popular spots like Gion, Kiyomizudera, Pontocho Alley, Teramachi shopping street, etc.
