The location is very strategic. Exit Nagano station, cross a little and you're there. Below it is Lawson, exit the hotel, turn right, there is Dongki. In front of it is a really delicious restaurant that is open 24 hours. Very recommended hotel 🫰🫰

I had a great stay at Hotel Jal City Nagano! The hotel was very clean, and I truly enjoyed my time there. One of the best things about this hotel is the wide range of amenities they provide. From shampoo, conditioner, hair comb, and shaving kit to face cleansing milk, serum, hair ties, mouthwash, toothbrush, toothpaste, and even bath powder—everything was so complete! The location is also convenient, with the train station within a reasonable walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Nagano! 😊

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Courtland Nagano. The first thing that stood out was the exceptional hospitality; the staff were incredibly professional, warm, and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in and stay. The room was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained, which is always my top priority. Moreover, the location is unbeatable, it is literally just a few steps away from Nagano Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching trains or exploring the city. Everything was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nagano!

Staying at Toyoko Inn during my first trip to Japan was an excellent decision. I stayed at their branches in Shin-Takaoka, Nagano, and Narita, and the consistency across all locations made my travels much smoother. The most impressive aspect was the strategic location of each hotel. Whether I was catching a Shinkansen or heading to the airport, being just steps away from the station saved me a lot of time and stress as a first-time visitor. The amenities are perfectly tailored for travelers. The coin laundry facilities were incredibly convenient, allowing me to pack light and refresh my wardrobe mid-trip. I also really appreciated the complimentary coffee—a small but thoughtful touch that was perfect for a quick energy boost before heading out to explore. If you are looking for a reliable, accessible, and budget-friendly hotel chain in Japan, I highly recommend Toyoko Inn. It truly provides everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Location is impeccable! It's near Nagano station and just next to a convenience store. It's also near a lot of restaurants and izakayas. The room is tiny yet clean. It has a separation door of corridor and the main room. They have non-mix gender outdoor onsen, it's also very clean. You should try the onsen on 3 PM till 6 PM to avoid many people if you are uncomfortable. Their breakfast is very generous, many types of breakfast, start from soba, typical Japanese breakfast or even continental breakfast. They also provide milk specifically from Nagano region which I love! They also very kind to provide half-size ramen as a midnight snack!
