Pasir Ris is a residential town situated in the East Region of Singapore. This town is also a planning area that covers an area of 5.8 square kilometres and bordered by Tampines and Paya Lebar to the south, Sengkang to the southwest and Changi to the east. Pasir Ris also has a total population of 139,890 as recorded in 2015.
Besides that, Pasir Ris also comprised of four subzones which are Pasir Ris Central, Pasir Ris West, Pasir Ris Drive and Pasir Ris Park. Apart from that, back then, Pasir Ris possessed several hills less than 40 metres height. However, these hills have been flattened for residential development.
