Had a great stay at Orchard Hotel. We're upgraded to premier room that comes worh bath tub amd king size bed that can fit all three of us. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly varied and when we came at about 8am there were not many guests and the spread is plenty. If you're driving they will give complimentary parking as well. 👍🏼

We had really a great stay! Check in was fast! No deposit required. Beautiful lobby! Got a free upgrade to family room that come with a tent that my daughter love it so much! Extra bed for her to z too. The king bed is so big. They even send in anniversary card wishes and cakes for us! Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is good too. Really enjoyed our stay and we will be back for sure! Thanks for everything!

Booked for my husband's belated birthday celebration. Got the early check in and late check out. No deposit required. Staffs are all very nice and helpful. We also received a complimentary chocolate cake slices with a birthday card from hotel. The pool is really big but no kiddy pool so families with kids please supervise your kids. 10-15mins walk from orchard MRT. Room is clean and spacious. Will come back in the future.

The check-in system was down when we arrived, waited for 30mins. No welcome drink as provided in the bookings, no smile staffs.

What went wrong during my stay: 1. The hotel is so old, immediately after I went inside the hotel there was this sweet smell that is so intense it immediately make you nauseous. I suspect that it is because of how dirty the carpets are, that they have this diffuser every 4 rooms or so, that keeps on diffusing perfume to the whole floor and the smell is so bad. I complained about this to the front desk and they ionized my room which is just a humidifier. When I returned the sweet smelling scent is indeed not there, but it was replaced with a sour smell of humid places that makes you want to throw up. 2. The bed is so dusty and dirty, there was a leftover food on top of the bed when I entered, and if you hit the bed cover, you can see dust flying around. The lamps are dirty with lots of dust and water-marked stain on it. 3. The shower area is so small and slippery. 4. The sound proofing is so bad, I was laughing with my sister while chatting, it was not even loud, but not even 5 minutes later the hotel staff came to my room and told me to keep it down. NEVER in my entire life staying at a 5 stars hotel, I have ever gotten told to keep my voice down. 5. This hotel is so predatory, asking for ICE is 5 dollars not including taxes and services. It is a joke. 6. There is no smoking area, you wanna smoke? Better go out to the streets then. 7. The concierge is very creepy, an old guy concierge keeps following us around after we gave a tip to the guy who helped us carry our bags. 8. The flusher in the toilet keeps leaking water. It is embedded on the wall so if you flush your finger will get wet due to the leak. Absolutely hilarious. I do not know why the score of this hotel is 8. SOMETHING. Better stay somewhere else rather than this hotel. Whoever rated this hotel as a 5 stars need a reality check. It is at most a 3 stars hotel with 5 stara pricing. Safe to say I will never go back.
