We really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are a bit older, but overall it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The best part for us was how welcoming they were to our cat. A lot of “pet-friendly” hotels seem to mainly mean dog-friendly, and not every place is comfortable with cats. This hotel had no problem at all, they prepared a cat toy and some pet supplies. They also allow well-behaved pets to stay in the room, which is very convenient for travellers. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a great option if you’re travelling with a pet.

We were glad we decided to stay at Chateau Frontenac. It is so iconic and awesome, its worth paying more for the experience Its location is as good as it gets for Old Town Quebec

Historic, monumental, unique, and inspiring hotel. The central attraction of old Quebec city and within walking distance of everything you would want to experience and see in 2 to 3 days. Plenty of staff throughout the hotel to answer questions and tend to your needs. Classy stores, and restaurants. Taxis available and Uber dropoff/pickup at entrance to hotel. Pricey, but that's to be expected for this fine hotel.

The dinning was very upscale and elegant. The restaurant faced the river and was very pleasant for dining with a view. Great for once in a lifetime.
