We arrived very early before check-in and, although our room wasn't ready, Alexandra on the front desk was very welcoming and friendly and the Duty Manager took care of us until we could check in. On check out the following day, Maria and Rebecca were extremely helpful. The room was large and comfortable. We have stayed at the Novotel London West before and it's always been a good experience.

Reception was difficult to find as sign outside pointed towards lifts where only one worked and was very busy/slow. Room was nice but was felt thin so heard lots of noise especially early hours of morning.

Clean, very convenient, large room. Didn’t have breakfast or have any drinks etc but the bars looked nice. There was an awards ceremony going on when we arrived and had to wait an absolute age to get in a lift up to the reception, when we left after checking in we realised there’s an alternative entrance round the corner. It would be good if that were signposted so people were aware.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an superior executive room which was a double room with an additional sofa. It also had a complimentary minibar. The only thing was, the only item in the minibar was water. When I checked at reception, that was all they put in the minibar for that room type. I can get water from the tap for free anyway so after making a big deal out of it when we checked in it was very disappointing. Also the tv did not thave sky tv channels. The shower had no power what so ever and was warm at best. The waitresses at the bar were great once they arrived, but like buses, never appeared for ages and then got 3 at once. When you pay £100 plus per night you should expect more. Have stayed in hotels all over the world and had way better rooms for far less. Very disappointed.

I had originally booked a two-night stay through Expedia. However, my work at Charing Cross Hospital ended a day earlier than planned, so I needed to check out after the first night. When I approached the counter, I specifically asked the staff member Waqar if he could assist me. He confirmed he was available, so I proceeded. After handing over my keys and receiving confirmation that the checkout was complete, I simply requested a printed receipt. At this point, Waqar’s demeanour changed dramatically. He became quite impolite, claiming he now had other customers waiting and instructing me to go to the next counter. When I explained that a printout would only take a moment, he began arguing with me, questioning why I was checking out early. To be honest, the interaction felt more like an interrogation than a standard hotel service. It seemed as though I was being questioned about “getting bail a day early” rather than simply concluding my professional stay. Despite my explanation that I was in a hurry to get home after my shift, he continued to be argumentative and dismissive. Lady next to him counter was also dismissive saying printout doesn’t take 5 mins and covering the person but in fact it just took less than 2 seconds. Staff is rude as I could read few comments on other websites and they have neither improved it nor are they apologetic.
