The new room is great, the AC is super cold. The staff is very friendly, if there is even a small problem, they immediately fix it. The TV that wasn't working properly was immediately replaced with a new one, awesome. This is my umpteenth time staying at this place, nothing disappoints. Check-in is very fast, no need to wait for hours. I like the food, especially the potatoes which are delicious. For the price of around 200 it is very worth it, especially near the beach.

The hotel staff was very friendly, on hand, and helpful with everything I needed. The room and bathroom were clean, with clean water and good water pressure. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. If I return to Makassar, I will most likely stay at the Melia Makassar again, provided there are no issues.

The room is very comfortable, the breakfast menu is very varied & well served by a staff named Aika 👍 The kids love it because it's the one & only that serves Hot Chocolate 👍 Saturday afternoon there are additional play activities for the kids to watch & decorate pancakes, the kids are very happy 🙏 So cool!
