My mom and I stayed in this hotel towards the end of our 2 week trip in Japan. There were a few times we left hotels this trip saying that we want to come back, but this became the only one I actually made a rebooking for already.
The hotel and room itself is beautiful and clean, the location great, and the staff were amazing. They were professional, but still felt friendly and warm, from the staff welcoming us outside the hotel, to the front desk, and the cleaning staff. Same goes for the waiter and waitresses in Le Normandie.
I am already looking forward to seeing New Grand in Winter, and trying the Christmas meals in the hotel restaurants.
All the staff, from the reception staff to the restaurant staff, were incredibly polite and considerate. Since we had small children with us, we asked the restaurant to serve the food earlier, and since it was a celebration for my parents, we asked them to prepare a dessert plate. They gladly accepted our requests. On the day of the celebration, they were considerate of our children and asked if we wanted some ice cream, which made us feel warm inside. They also prepared a celebratory plate, even though we only requested it over the phone on the day. Thank you so much. We would like to use your service again when we visit Yokohama. Thank you so much.
We loved the luxurious feel of this hotel, yes its a little dated but it felt lovely. The location was amazing, the view was fantastic and the staff lovely. Free parking was available across the street, but you need to pull in at the front door for the concierge to give you a ticket and direct you to your parking bay. The bathroom felt the oldest of everything.
The room was really nice, clean, great view. What really stood out was the service and very classy environment. Honestly, I felt like I was treated like royalty.
The staff were excellent and helpful at every instance. Room was always spotless, amenities and location suited our group perfectly.
