Great view from any corner room, whether left or right. The staff from top to bottom are very friendly and kind. Although the breakfast is vegetarian, it is very delicious and varied. Strategic location, to Adventist Hospital is very close, just across the street. To the famous Welling drug store is also very close, a 5-minute walk. There is also a Catholic church before the Welling store. And if you want to eat Ay Hai Nam, the famous Sim Nan Huat is also close, a 5-minute walk. Overall, highly recommended. If you want KFC, there is also a mini mart next to the hotel.

The staff, from the top to the bellboys, are very friendly and kind. Although the food at the hotel is vegetarian, it is delicious and very varied. Near the Welling Store and there is a Catholic church before Welling Store (where to buy medicine). It is a 10-15 minute walk to Gurney Paragon and to Gurney Plaza it can be 25 minutes by Grab for only RM 5. To Adventist Hospital, just cross the road in less than 5 minutes. Overall, it is highly recommended. If you want to eat Hainanese Chicken Sim Nam Huat, it is only a 5 minute walk.

Just across the Penang Adventist Hospital, approximately 3 minutes walk only. The room is clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Especially since there's a plenty of stairs from the drop off until we reach the lobby so the staff helping us to bring our luggage is very helpful! The foods are tasty especially the noodle soup! It was a great stay ♡

The staff were very nice. They were so helpful. Always have a good breakfast to start a day. Berjaya Hotel is located near Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon mall, you can just walk to get there. Also, it’s close to Pulau Tikus Wet Market, where you can get all local and street food. Such a good place to stay. And if you were coming to Penang to have a medical tour (just like I did), it’s a good place to stay because it is located in front of Adventist Hospital.

The staff are very friendly, from the top to the bellboys. The distance to Adventist Hospital is very close, less than a 5-minute walk. The breakfast is very varied and delicious, even though it is vegetarian. The room cleanliness is very good. For those who are treated at Adventist Hospital, I highly recommend staying at Berjaya Hotel. To get to Gurney Paragon, you can walk for about 15 minutes. To the Welling drugstore is only about 600 steps and for Catholics, there is a church before the Welling store. Overall, it is practical to stay there. To get to Gurney Plaza, take a Grab RM 5, but the walk is also possible but it is a bit further.

The room I was given was exactly what I requested. I was thrilled to get a room with the best view. The bed type was also carefully chosen, as requested. Many hotels don't fulfill our booking requests. The entire staff was friendly. I'll stay here again when I visit Penang.

As a customer, you should treat customers well. I always came here before but won't come back next time. The bell man always asks customers to give him Google reviews by mentioning his name, which he never helped to carry your suitcase; he just stands there and greets you when he is in the mood. 1. The level I was staying on smelled like smoke 🤮 2. I called the receptionist to send me staff to change the TV battery, but nobody came or even asked about it until I checked out. Your TV is old already, but to ignore customers like that? W.O.W. 3. The cleaning service, when I asked if she could clean my room when I went out for lunch, she said yes, and when I came back at 3pm, the room wasn't cleaned yet. 4. Repetitive food and basically only almost the same taste vegetarian cooking, so if you stay a week, you will be fed up.

Suggest to request room specification in advance. We have stayed in this hotel since 2013/2014. Currently, we are staying on the 24th floor, which has a nice view and parquet floor, which I love.
